I had a very positive experience with Howard. He helped me with a difficult divorce. He was very knowledgeable about everything and supported me every step of the way. I do not feel I could have received better results with anyone else. I was treated and felt like a valued friend and not just a client. Our family has used Mr.Dyment for two generations. recently my Wife of 35 yrs. had a difficult Estate settlement agreement and when we approached Howard and after intent listening he recommended a Law Firm he felt could better represent her. This shows that our concern was before his pocket book. Howard is very experienced with over 40 yrs. in practice and experience has no replacement. Howard has always made us feel as comfortable like being with family. Howard does not beat around the bush and is very direct.Howard might be considered pricey but good representation doesn't come cheap.

I had dealings with this lawyer in 2 occasions to draw up a will. The first time was successful, the second time disaster. Having asked me for an impression of my credit card as ID, he then proceeded to charge my card without ever presenting me with a bill, and before my will was even drawn up. Really shady business practise!! Be careful.

H Dyment worked in ways I didn't understand at the time, coached me well, I listened, he wasted no time; even when he's funny his message is serious. I'll will be grateful into my old age; I paid more! why? because my ex's lawyer admitted he didn't do his work, thanked Howard because he picked up the slack & apologized to him and the judge for this behaviour. Then for the next case he protected me again from a neurotic lawyer! I wish he could represent me again.

I had four lawyers during my divorce. I found that the was a lack of attention to detail. A key aspect of the SSAG calculation by his team (kudos to Harrison) was attended to and I got my ideal settlement. I am forever grateful to his team. TO WHOM IT May CONCERN: I would like to congratulate Howard Dyment who handled a difficult case for me. He took over a case that two Law firms would not handle. My brother died without a notarial will. There was outstanding bills and Debts, Bank statements and an holograph will on a piece of carboard. He had to personally approach Banks, RBC, CIBC etc. to arrange transfert of funds to Estate account. He also had to spend hours in Court to obtain probate. So, I HIGHLY recommend HOWARD DYMONT for all his diligent work he put in on this case. Mr. Howard Dyment is an extremely professional and experienced lawyer. He is very open and honest in his dealings and ensures you understand the process. His office provides great service and was very efficient in getting the job done. In my situation, I was having a property transferred into my name from my mother, who died without a will. With his knowledge and experience, Mr. Dyment recalled a piece of Ontario law that allowed the property to be transferred to me without first obtaining probate. This saved me a lot of time and money! Mr. Dyment was very thorough and found some issues on the property title, including an undischarged mortgage. The property had been transferred twice already and none of the previous lawyers had bothered to clean up the title! He also advised me on some other family issues so I will definitely be retaining him again in the future. I have no reservations in strongly recommending Mr. Dyment for your real estate and family law matters.

Howard is very experienced and knowledgeable. He is also a very pragmatic lawyer and does not get bogged down in issues that could detract from what really matters. In my case, what mattered was my daughter having access to me after a relationship breakdown. Howard provided sage advice as to how to achieve this in a fashion that was not adversarial even in the face of hostile and confrontational behaviour from my ex-partners lawyer. It is very easy to "fuel the fire" in what is a very emotional situation, but Howard (unlike some other lawyers) avoided this as it is self defeating and ultimately does not benefit anyone. As a result, to date there has been a positive outcome with my daughter having increased access to me. Howard has a very open and honest approach and I very quickly had a great rapport with him which helped as when going through these types of experiences one needs a lawyer who truly understands your mind set and views. Would definitely recommend Howard.

I retained Howard on a Real Estate Matter Originally and he was extraordinarily efficient, so when I needed a matrimonial lawyer, I went to him again. My spouse and I started with lots of rancor but Howard helped ease the pain and we both walked away feeling that we had reached a fair and equitable settlement. This ran contrary to what people think about lawyers only being into it for the money and stringing things out to bill huge fees. I would highly recommend this lawyer over any others that I have dealt with over the years

Check out the Law Society of Upper Canada investigation and learn more! I am a woman. There were no children of the marriage, and spend over two years in a divorce battle that cost me almost $100,000 and my house. I am appalled.
