I recently assisted my good friend with the adoption of her baby, which was facilitated by this lawyer. In the beginning it was only requested that she be treated with respect. From the onset, she had to beg repeatedly for funds to complete the tasks required. Incliding travel expenses and hotel costs, as she was without transportation and the location was a considerable distance from her home. She was left to her own means at times, to be reimbersed, or on most occassions left with barely enough to get by. It was not uncommon for her to have only enough for one meal a day. Her impression was that she was only taken care of until her baby was handed over to a social worker and the paperwork signed, then that the law firm could not care less as to the feelings and well being of the birth mother. Promises and expectatiins were made and set only to be retracted. It was emotionally tramatic in itself, compounded by the firms apparant lack of the human touch towards the birth mother

Unethical, greedy, not well informed about current adoption research and what's in best interest of all involved. Allows her pride/ego to lead her instead of wisdom.
