Mr. Perry's firm does not pay their expert witnesses! Mr. Lawrence Perry, after subpoenaing an expert witness (Mr. Rick Van Bruggen) for deposition and agreeing to his hourly rate, has refused to pay that expert for his time in testimony and, furthermore, would not return the calls from the
expert's office when pursuing payment on his invoice. This practice is unscrupulous and unethical. The expert is taking Mr. Perry to small
claims over the matter. If Mr. Perry can not be trusted to pay his experts, he certainly can not be expected to be trusted by his clients, and
should be avoided.
