Mr. Sossi is not polite. Don't ask for advice unless you have $30,000. He was very rude and harsh talking with me and that was upsetting. If I had $30,000, I would definitely not use his legal services with that tone he carries. He will make you more upset. I am a past client and he's become more rude. I hope this comment will help this lawyer be more kind.

The worst Attorney ever. He never communicates with you. Will not answer phone calls, nor respond to emails and or txt messages. He does not listen; he sends documents to the court that were incorrect. He will not update you on the status of your custody case regarding when motions are filed by the opposing attorney. Everything is a joke to this guy a paper shuffler doesn't take any action just lets the case linger on, collects the money and then says sorry I tried my best. Since he was non-response we consulted with a different attorney and that attorney shared with us that a discovery was filled. You never get Invoices from him and to date we are still waiting for our refund. Don't waste your money or risk your child custody!!!

Horrible can’t even begin to describe what kind of lawyer and person he is. This man took THOUSANDS of dollars from me wouldn’t return emails, calls, I actually had the courthouse clerk sending me emails from them because he would not tell me what was going on. I filed for divorce back in January and it’s now September and I have yet to even get my belongings out the house! I have been spending money for 7 months with NOTHING to show for it. The only time I heard from him was when he wanted more money. DO NOT HIRE!!!! THIS IS A SCAM!!!

I have utilized Matt for the past 6 years in differing matters of divorce. He is smart and would not say always fair. The main fact is that he has never followed completely thru on any of my cases. Either the child support paperwork was not filed by him or the temporary to permanent orders were not finalized which leaves room for error or better yet mis-interpretation. Oh and he will talk badly behind your back to the opposing party.

He will lie to you to get your money and then disappears. He wasted four years of my life at the expense of my family and especially my little girl. Still waiting for my file. I doubt at this point that it even exists at all. I am looking into legal action against him will a quality attorney.

He did not let me know the status of divorce. He said he would take care of my wants, which ex-wife got everything. He never returned my calls.

Dear Matt,
Last summer I was at my whit’s end in the divorce I was going through. I was being represented by a law firm that passed me from the original attorney, who was recommended to me, to an attorney who was new to the firm. I felt from the beginning that my best interests were not being served and it seemed he was working for the other party. I finally realized that I needed a change.
I called on two friends who are attorneys and asked for their help. Because they know both parties they would not represent me. I asked their recommendation for an attorney who would represent me and they both gave me your name. They told me that you were good, fair but aggressive which is what I needed at that time.
I was not disappointed. I highly recommend you to anyone who really wants an attorney who will listen and in my case calm me down. You represented me in a manner that I understood and appreciated. I was satisfied with the results when the divorce was finalized.

This guy took $7500 upfront and then never communicated with me. He would not listen to me; he sent documents to the court that were incorrect and not what I wanted him to state on the document. He wasted 5 months of my life. He refused to take any information that could have been used against my wife to get me a good settlement for my children. After mediation where he did not represent me at all, he told me I had wasted his time. I wasted my money. I had to find out about the final court hearing from my wife who has the best attorney in Texas. This guy told me he was going to fight for my rights. I am in much worse shape now than before he was hired. He became friends with the other attorney and made comments to the other attorney's staff. He was suppose to communicate with me via email because he continued to lie about corresponding with me. I have emails with questions that he refused to answer. Don't waste your money or risk your child custody or risk loosing with this guy.
