Sadly, much like the previous reviewer, I had a poor experience with Attorney Carvelli. He took my money, did not keep me apprised of the next steps and failed to finish filing the divorce paperwork. After chasing him for nearly three years, he offered to refund me $165 yet keeping a $500 flat fee he feels he is entitled to despite not filing the proper paperwork. He feels he "worked" the case but in the end I found another attorney, paid more money and got quick results. Look elsewhere for legal assistance.

I really gave all my trust to Peter and unfortunately he wasn't able to finish my divorce. He spent my retainer ($3,000) just to file the case. He told me he spent many hours working on my case, but has nothing to show for it. Now I can't afford to finish it, and all he says is he tried. I wish I picked someone else. I need to take care of my kids now and can't get more money for another lawyer. I messed up.
