This chump not worthy of his name violates his loyalty of duty to his clients which violates his constitutional right to counsel. This so called professional who posts selfies of himself in a car online destroyed my life in a matter of minutes in a court room when he coerced me to believe that pleading guilty to something absolutely fictional and going after a peace bond during a very messy and bias divorce was my best outcome. The system is absolutely flawed and broken in many ways and this chump deserves his own life sentence. How do some people sleep at night? Makes me sick even thinking about it. Please, think twice before talking to this guy. And if you are going through legal aid show them these reviews and ask for someone else. I wish you all the best out there!

Worst lawyer ever 20k he took from me and threw me under the bus in court he got torn up by a lawer with 3yrs experience i fired him on the spot padded his bills and got nothing in return don’t ever hire this flake he’ll screw you and call it a day only thing good about him is Kimberly his receptionist if anyone has a job for her they should poach her thanks for nothing stephen karma will get u soon enough

We had great communication with Mr. Littley BEFORE we actually hired him, as he told us what he could do for us and asked for the retainer. Then for the next four months we basically heard nothing - our case was (as most are) time-sensitive. So we lost four months, which weakens our position in the dispute. He billed us for work done - but we have no evidence that he ever actually DID any of the work he billed for. We got the Law Society of BC involved, and got our retainer back in full from Mr. Littley. So that is great - but it does not change the fact that nothing progressed on our case for, by now five months - which weakens our case against the opposing party. That may end up being very costly to us. In summary, WE ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LAWYER. He does not answer emails, no one answers the phone or returns calls, and we are not even sure whether he did any of the work he billed us for. Stay away, find someone else.

Mr.Littley is an amazing loyal lawyer who has seen my case through all the downs and upset stayed with me and end the end I got what I needed the most. Appreciate the great service!

Mr littley is assertive understanding as well as there for you , when it came to me going for guardianship of a child that was not blood related we won and guardianship was granted. He is very busy but that is what you get when the lawyer is practicing family law criminal law as well as once was a mcfd lawyer all and all no complaints Some advice is read up your family law it's accessible online and this way one can communicate what they want

Ok so I am going to start by saying I don't know how the **** he still has his law license???????. Stephen littley has a very poor work ethic, his communication skills are - 0.0 he waits till the last minute to make an appointment unless you reach out. He will tell you what you want to hear before the court then once you're in court he will literally let the other counsel harass, bully, and be prejudiced against his clients when the other party demonstrates instability to take care of children. Lawyers like him are the reason why this system is so ****ing broken and different ethnicities( Asian, Chinese, black, etc) are put in a white system and are treated like worthless pieces of crap. Also, Stephen littley is MCFD’s pet rat he doesn’t care about you or your case, like many reviews say he can talk the talk but can’t walk the walk. He needs to lose his license he worthless lawyer. Ps, I feel bad for people who spent their money on this piece of****.

Doesn't contact me ever. Not even up until the week before court. I had to contact his receptionist, and he still did not want to meet with me nor did he think it important to go over the facts of my case with me before appearing in front of a judge. It feels as though he wants to put things off again and again in order to collect a bigger cheque. Will update when my case is finished.

Check your bills he seems very desperate not sure if he has many clients. My money in trust disappeared quickly every billing cycle was eye opening , example secretary charged 20 min fort a email that contained less then 20 words , for instructions to opposing counsel to go ahead and hire someone, like I said earlier less then 20 words .

Mr. Stephen Littley has very poor work ethic. He drags his feet and offers very poor communication. He offers very poor value for your hard earned dollar. I cannot recommend this lawyer on any level.

This man should be selling used cars. He does not follow up on agreed actions, has a great pitch but then disappears. I would hate to say he lied to me but what he said to me and reality were very different things. The actions he described to happen immediately still had not happened 3 months later. Do your homework people and avoid this no show.

This guy has the makings to be a very good lawyer but falls short on carrying through. For me he was a disaster so I had to find a new one. His assistant is his only strength but that won't help you in court. His motto should be "Non Curo" because the evidence I provided to him was never presented in court. He actually made my situation worse by failing to challenge my spouses claims of convenience. A great difference between what he said and what he did.

Mr. Littley was wonderful solving my case and his staff was helpful and polite. If I every require another lawyer, he will be my first and only call.

Anyone who rates a lawyer "all ones" or "all fives" isn't fooling anyone. Mr. Littley has done some good work for me so far. I can tell you one thing: if a lawyer is always spending time with a client (pro-bono, etc.) it tells me that he or she has no other clients or urgent matters to deal with. The fact that he is busy and can't respond right away to clients speaks volumes. At least he doesn't "pretend" to be over-caring like some fake lawyers. He's legit, but yes.. I suppose he could polish up on his confirmations, etc. Apart from that, from all accounts he's really becoming a seasoned lawyer now and I'm glad to have him on my side. I'll keep using him as my lawyer, for sure.

I am so very grateful for Mr Littley. He has treated me with dignity and respect. Listened, encouraged and explained my situation to me. In my opinion, he has gone above and beyond on my behalf. Although the Judicial System is slow, frustrating and overwhelming I do believe that he is a great representative and what I do know, is his involvement has made movement for my case. For that I am grateful. I would refer to him, without any hesitation. Thank You

Have had him for quite some time.. and I am still waiting for my divorce 3 years later. He has had the money to do it too.. I have found trying to get ahold of him is next to impossible. He can be good in the court room, but definitly not good at communicating with his clients.. and one thing he forgets is "HE" works for us its not "US" working for him!

He was recommended to me through BC Legal Aid. It has taken 4 years to get a divorce through his apathy and those of my hopefully ex's lawyer. Someone was supposed to go to Court on July 7, 2010 for the 3rd time. His associate was to go in his place and he didn't. I cannot get anyone to respond from that office. I can't afford another retainer or I would go elsewhere.

does not look after clients best interests and is extremely sarcasic and threatening. has no empathy or ethics. Appears to like to keep case going to fill his own pocket book. no sense of family values. mannerism is terrible.doesn't defend or listen to client or give proper advice or explain just do do do do and do more when you are vunerable and fragile at the time. wants court orders changed on his own accord. he's a jerk interested in only his pocket book.
