He does not represent you at all. He caused my son to be convicted at trial and to receive a LIFE sentence. He does not investigate a defendants issues, he lies to defendants and claims that he'll look into issues but he NEVER does, he lies to federal judges and consistently gets caught yet they never penalize this FRAUDSTER. He is the scum of the earth.

Wow, is all I can say about him. He's not what he leads you to believe in the very beginning. I wished that I had the information about him. Now, we've paid him and still getting the run around. I don't have the monies to start over and he's done nothing for my son and has the audacity to get upset when you ask him questions. I'm not sure what to do but he's done nothing but continue the case month after a month. A year and month later still getting the run around, my son still in the same place when we started. I wish there was something that could be done as he's ripped us off and has no quams about it. Just moves on to the next victim. Find another attorney, as he's not the one.

Doug is a horrible attorney people go to him thinking he is going to do his job he will get you out of jail that is the only thing good he will do. Court time come he lie and tell you what he is going to do how he is going to do it but does not do anything he actually doesn't put up a fight for you. He charge all this money and don't take out the time to talk to you when you do make appointment he make your visit short. When you start to ask questions about your case that you paid good mo ey for he will get an attitude. He is the worst attorney to have but you won't k ow how bad he is until you hand him over your money and by the. It's too late. PEOPLE PLEASE research your attorney ask questions and if they rub you the wrong way or cut you off with the questions you ask then don't give them your moneys

This is by far the worst attorney I have ever witnessed. You might as well give your money to charity at least it will be used for good..this man is worthlesz

Mr. Forsyth came and spoke with me while I was in jail,this meeting was at no charge. At that time he and I came up with a plain for dealing with my current legal matter. Mr Forsyth told me he would do a number of things, get a bound reduction,stop probation warrant by talking to my judge,and a defense plain. He asked that I give a $1000 to start and make payments. Once he got the $1000 everything changed. He told me I should take a plea deal before he even had police reports,never even tried to stop probation warrant,filed one bond reduction but did not follow through the process. He told us it was rejected,later we found out the truth from the court clerk. Also gave him $250 for a traffic ticket,asked for a refund before he did anything and he said he was keeping the money,he has not done one thing and has singed off the case. I don't have enough room to keep telling what a nightmare it has been. All this is taking place now 5-15,please do not risk your money or freedom.

I hired Mr. Forsyth to represent me in 2004 in a simple matter that should have been cleared easily. Although I paid him $200 upfront, he did not even show up to my court date. That led to me getting a warrant put out for my arrest and later having to enter a guilty plea that I never should have. I later started thinking that Mr. Forsyth was actually just a scam artist, but it turns out he is indeed a real lawyer... just a very bad one. My advice is: 1) Try to stay out of trouble and 2) If you must hire an attorney, avoid Douglas Forsyth at all costs
