Took money from me for nothing. I had nothing pending or upcoming. The attorney I had retired and she referred me to this individual. He charged me for a phone call that never happened and charged me for talking to my old attorney at her retirement party? There was NO reason for him to review info that was 6+ years old. We reviewed my questions and what little documentation that was relevant at the time of the initial conference. I used to be a paralegal so I'm familiar with law office billing. Charging for the conference and new file set up is one thing but he seriously padded the bill. $440.00 worth. His bookkeeper did say he would credit me for the phone call that never took place but that's it. I've contacted the Bar Association.
