Read other reviews did really needed a lawyer asap. Met him at his old location he seemed nice but had terrible replies to us via email when we would ask a question. Would not use him for future services.

Terrible!!! Years ago We completed our sale and purchase of homes through this office. Unfortunately, they messed up both transactions and tried forcing us to pay additional money when they actually owed us. Huge fight, resulted in us sending letter and winning. They also forgot to send title until months after transaction and there was an issue with encroachment! They also forgot to cash the down payment from the purchaser, which could have cost us thousands if he decided to walk away!

He apparently works with real estate, but when I bought a house with a bankruptcy title he never bothered to find out that there was still money owing to the town. I had to pay out that money from my own pocket which was three times what he charged me. When I was able to talk to him about this issue, he said he would deal with it for $700. I already paid once for this sort of thing, why do I have to pay again. Not to mention I never even met him in person, I only ever dealt with the paralegal.

Would not recommend this lawyer or his staff the worst I have ever dealt with alot of mistakes on legal documents which they would not correct

He truly is an inconsiderate a-hole, he believes his time is priceless and that everyone is beneath him. He does not care about helping you except being paid.Every time I was trying to get his help he kept pushing me aside for better paying clients. If i knew better I would not have gone business with him. DO NOT USE HIM!

I have dealt with Darren for both a real estate and a divorce matter. I think both were done very well, his assistant Kelsie is amazing, she always answers your questions and gets back to messages and emails very quickly. Some people seem to think that because they watch a TV show things should be done in that way, and don't understand that the law does not work like it does on TV and when dealing with a divorce, sometimes you have to make compromise. When you are trying to save money, doing things like talking to my ex my self and trying to come to a compromise, instead of demanding that my lawyer call my ex's lawyer and waste their time over little things that we just should able to work out ourselves, and making sure documents are organized prior to bringing them into his office really help. I think Darren and his team have done a wonderful job, and I recommend him to everyone I know when I hear they are needing a lawyer.

If you want a lawyer who promises results in 6-8 weeks but takes almost a year-he's your man! He never returns phone calls or emails and employs rude staff that are full of excuses. He's an absolute joke and his office is a farce.

This man is a terrible person. He did nothing positive for me in my divorce. When I said I wanted him to fight for something or I'd have to find a lawyer who would since I couldnt afford to lose everything and keep paying him he told me to go ahead because he still has my money. Would always get to an important part in the case then stop work, mail out a bill and refuse to even take or place a single call until the bill was paid. Happened about 8 times over the course of the year it took him to "settle" the divorce. Foul tempered and rude. Avoid this lawyer.

It seems by the ratings that you either love him or hate him. Went through a divorce and yes I had to contribute some time and effort - even face to face negotiations with the former spouse alone. I feel that it is to be expected if costs are to be kept affordable. Can't say that I love him but having an understanding of how business/divorce work; I give Darren a good rating.

Am still trying to get answers so am rating it based on 3 years of an unsettled unhappy "divorce" proceeding. Cheap some say? I don't think so. I could've done everything he did for $450, but he cost me just under $2000!! Just stay away and look for another lawyer.

This guy is very manipulative. Not at all honest or straightforward. When it came down to negotiations, he didn't want to put the effort in, so he started an argument, then left me high an dry.

I used Darren to help me sue a homebuilder, we settled outside of court. Darren did a great job and I was awared $17,000.

The only reason the value is up a bit is because he's cheap. But I have learned the hard way that there is truth in the old saying "You get what you pay for." In my opinion, he has no interest in actually fighting for you, and does not seem to know what he's talking about. When you show him documentation from the Queen's Printer that he's wrong, you get belittled. I hired him to deal with a common-law "divorce" where my ex owed a great deal more on vehicles and other assets he took when we split up than he was entitled to. In the end, I was left in the hole an extra $71,000 on top of the mortgage, thanks to what I felt was a lack of any effort on Darren's part. When I would suggest a change to try and make it fair, or to try and get my ex to pay for anything he should have had to pay for, I was told if I wanted it done to basically just quit arguing and deal with it. I made the decision to trust this man to do his job-do not make the same mistake.

A real slime ball doesn't give a crap about solictor-client privillege. Has a very foul mouth when cornered. Very unprofessional should of been a used car saleman instead. Hopefully Carma will come around so he can get his own.

Great hardworking team. I had a real estate deal done with them, and couldn't be happier. They're assistants were very timely and knowledgeable in responding to my concerns, and gave me great advice to try and keep my costs down. I would recommend this office to anyone.

Did a land transfer with Moroz Law office. Was told it would take 30 days "max" and cost $350 "max". After 120 days and a $430 bill they have the nerve to send me Remit funds Immediately. They are a joke.
