This woman destroys any potential remedy by her sparky, sarcastic and judgemental communications. I am a drug testing professional and a litigation manager specializing in divorce strategy and contract strategy management in Utah. I have dealt with hundreds of attorneys accross the US, having built one of the largest networks of collection attorneys for one of the largest collection agencies in the US in the 80s. Gloria is quite possibly the most rude, effusive and nasty attorneys I have encountered in my 45+ year career in business and legal persuits. If you're looking to spend a lot of money for what most good lawyers would do for 1/2 the time and cost.

Gloria Cales was representing my ex husband who was a police officer at the time. She charged him $12,000.00 to represent him when I only had to pay my attorney $5,000.00 . My ex was not happy after everything was settled and he didn't get anything he wanted. She was also very rude to me even though I was pregnant at the time and going through an unfortunate and sad experience. She stated right in front of my pregnant self as we walked into court, "I just love divorce! It keeps me in business." Rude, expensive and unprofessional.

This Sucks! Is how I would classify my entire divorce process. None of it is fun but Gloria and her staff are top notch. Gloria is very educated and experienced at navigating her clients through this awful process. If you are a public safety employee I would HIGHLY recommend Gloria and her staff. Gloria will ensure you are as well protected as possible in your future. Gloria has the highest of integrity, will not play games and will be as straight forward and honest as a person as you will find anywhere. Lawyers get a bad rap at times but I can honesty say, Gloria is a good person who just happens to be a lawyer. Not a combination you often find in a lawyer.

Not only is Gloria the finest attorney I have ever known, she is also a person of wit, intelligence, and integrity. Gloria Cales has made me realize that no matter how much garbage is thrown your way, you can make it out on top. I wanted to be as amicable as I could through this entire divorce process and Gloria helped me accomplish that goal. We were able to come to a speedy conclusion without much fight. I would recommend her to anyone. I love the no fluff, real attitude she possess. I can not thank her enough for all of her help. The reason for my ratings are endless. Gloria is a wonderful attorney and puts your mind at ease even when it feels you are losing. Gloria said once "get worried when I look worried." She was right, even when I got worried she would say don't sweat it,he is just mudding the waters. My case was years in the making of a difficult divorce with child custody issues. You may not get an answer right away and feel like you are doing lots of work.But after it is all done you did the work because you know your story best and you should do some of the work because only you can add the specifics. Gloria was highly prepared and made sure there was no overturning a Rule 69 agreement even when opposing council tried to add items. Gloria told me from the start what was going to happen and MANY months later finally it happened. Thanks to Gloria I have a great life and even better divorce.

Gloria's knowledge and passion are what makes her a good attorney. I encourage anyone contemplating a divorce to at least have an interview with her, not only will they see how good she is but they will have a clear view on how the process works. I was always copied on all communications with the court and the opposing lawyer. Even while going through a knee replacement she was always there for every court date, she is a trooper. Her fee's are reasonable and a detailed invoice lets you know exactly what you are getting charged for. Her staff is excellent, friendly, well trained, and answered every question I called about. Awesome lady as well as an awesome attorney.

Gloria was reccomended to me by someone that was on the other side of one of her cases. They said get her before your spouse does or you'll be sorry. So I did. My divorce was very simple but it was nice having the insurance of a well qualified and reputable person on my side if things went bad. She is a expert on matters involving public safety retirements and the lives they live.

I can not, nor will I, try to say a "5" is what you get; with counsel you get what you pay for, and w Gloria you will “get” a 100 on a scale of 1-5. I have 2 cherubs that are my life, she understood all my concerns w my boys, my finances, was very professional, respectful, and…she even stayed late on a Friday to “calm me down” (truth be told it was more than 1 Friday I needed that…and yes, I was happy to pay for her time). This woman saved my life and the lives of my children. I was unknowingly in an abusive marriage and she opened my eyes to reality and got me out of it and on my way to a new life. Gloria was amazing, and the staff in her office was amazing too! The communication from the office was great, even when Gloria could not communicate with me herself. I recieved coorespondence from the office each time there was communication to/from my ex's attorney. She is very matter of fact in her approach, knows the law like the back of her hand, and does not bother to fight nasty like the ex's attorney did. She is able to get the job done without getting down to that level. Gloria and her office are understanding and patient while dealing with the emotions that come with a divorce and a child custody case,but give 'tough love' when needed. I do wish that the cost was a bit lower because it is always hard to part with a large amount of money when budgets are tight, but I completely realize that you get what you pay for. For the experience she has, and the time and effort she and the office puts forth, Gloria's price is NOT unreasonable.

I would never recommend Gloria Cales. She wastes a lot of time (which she bills her clients for) She is very antagonistic and unprofessional towards attorneys and other profesionals involved in litigation. She doesn't even know what discovery means! She bleeds her clients dry all the while promising them a good result. The good result she talks about unfortunately only winds up in her bank account.She is really pretty unethical and takes advantage of gullible clients who probably need counseling much more than such a sleazy lawyer.

I hired Gloria from a list of recommendations from one of the top divorce lawyers in Tucson. To say I feel lucky to have found her is a significant understatement! Her staff was so amazing at answering questions if Gloria was with a client and I was comforted each time I called. When I decided to file for divorce I had several attorneys recommended to me. Having been married for 31 years I knew it was going to be an extremely hard fight. After doing my due diligence I decided that Gloria Cales was the attorney that would be able to handle my case. During the course of the divorce I found Gloria's knowledge of the law impressive. She was always very through and paid close attention to every detail. Gloria was at all times prepared with case law and facts for all phone status conferences with the Judge as well as dealing with my spouse's attorney. Whenever I had a question or concern Gloria was accessible either by office call, cell phone or email within a 24 hours or less turn around time. Gloria's tenacity to stay on top of the case gave me security in knowing that my interests were being taken care of with the division of assets. Gloria's fees were very reasonable and her staff very professional. I highly recommend Gloria Cales as an attorney.

My divorce went as smoothly as it could possibly go, considering the circumstances. I feel her fees were reasonable for the work that had to be done and the settlement was very fair. Gloria Cales is overpriced and does not respond back to her clients in an acceptable amount of time. She bills excessively and leads clients to believe they are not responsible for certain items, but when the court date finally arrives...(only because she has failed to negotiate prior to the trial date) she pushes her clients under the bus. I would NEVER recommend her. Additionally, she is the only attorney in the office and she has no back-up. She is frequently away for several weeks at a time for trips and when she is gone her clients are up a creek!
