I recommend a set fee with her or most lawyers for that matter-- giving them a blank check is not incentive to do positive work it is only incentive, in my opinion, to nickel and dime you to death. She seems to be earnest about helping clients down deep inside.

Ms. Welsh was continually hard to reach and when she did respond, she told us different things on different occasions for the same topic. She seemed overwhelmed with too much work to focus on our case, which lead to a lot of frustration on our part. Also, she did not appear to have a paralegal on staff to assist with technical questions or paperwork. We ended up paying her full fee for every email and phone call.
