she does not apply the law to her work, she lies and manipulates the truth to benefit her client. She uses her connections within the court system to her benefit , she flat out lies and creates them.

If I had to describe her personality it would be grim reaper. I cant believe she would represent such a dishonest client that is clearly in the wrong. Some lawyers have morals and will not represent such people. She is NOT a very good lawyer and did not win against us. Firstly because her client is bad and secondly because she’s not prepared. She is super moody and grumpy like the world has done her wrong. Hire her if you want to waste your money

She walks into court like she is on vacation. She filed papers and doesn’t tell the clients until months later . She does paperwork that is questionable and she tends to make constant jokes while in trial like she knows she has won the case. Poor memory and will say anything against you just to win her case.

She just handled my son's divorce acting on behalf of his former wife. Many unnecessary delays, can't read a simple set of financial statements which led to a further waste of everyones time, can't properly file a simple divorce order.Probably more but I don't feel like reviewing my notes.Asimple divorce took over one year to settle. Stay away from her services !!!

Merle took on my case and misfiled paperwork, missed deadlines, was a poor communicator, and is not worth wasting your time or money on. After taking and depositing my retainer, and working on my case, she then told me after she had misfiled paperwork with the provincial court that I was not her client and she did not have to fix anything. Please choose any other lawyer!

2012, I have all the documentation to support the following. Her memory is poor. Misses deadlines. After 3 reminder notifications to settle a Court order she was threatened with a charge of contempt of court. She said on two occasions: "my brain is fried." I can't think." Tried to give away my personal vehicle and other property to my X-wife. Stuttered and stammered in front of the Judge. Worked by herself for 3 months after her assistant quit. On a drop in visit, she showed up Monday morning at 9:30, sauntering in like she was on vacation. The reception desk was piled with 6 files, each 6 inches high. She took my wife's side - tried to sell my house to my wife for $64,500.00 below appraised value. After I fired her she tried to push the sale of my house to my X against the Court Order. My new lawyer fought her and she failed to show up at the Court. There is more.

I am just finalizing my suite I levelled against my past employer. I am more than happy with the results.The claim was settled out of court within a few short months.I had received excellent advice and attention from Ms Campbell who worked diligently on my behalf.I found her fees reasonable and appreciated the time and effort she invested in my case. I would recommend her without reservation.

I found Merle Campbell through Lawyer Referral. I travelled some 14km out of my way to visit her. and it was worth it. She took my case which was a labour dispute against a high profile company. The case was settled in my favour, out of court within several months.
I found Merle Campbell to be highly professional in her dealings, to communicate well and to work hard on my behalf. The manner in which she handled my case actually made me feel as if she really cared .
I was very happy with her performance, so much so, that I passed her name on to several others who were in need of legal consul and have heard nothing but good of her in return. Based on my own personal experience, I would say that Merle Campbell is an excellent Lawyer, and if the need were to arise ( which I hope it doesn't) I would definitely rely on her services again

She will tell you what you want to hear and will suck your wallet dry. She took a loosing case to the Supreme Court of Canada after been defeated in BC Supreme court. The appeal in BC supreme court was a unanimous decision but she still hood winked her client into going to the Supreme Court. Her family law skills are poor at best but she sure convince a gullible client to drain his bank account. What he paid out in costs was less than what he would have paid over the next ten year or more on his current order. All I can say is BEWARE, she is one of those lawyers that all of those jokes are made about. Make sure you get an independent second opinion if you are dealing with Ms.Campbell, it may save you a lot of grief latter on.
