When my husand & I became clients we felt confident that our case would be handled properly because of dealing with a prestigious firm. The lawyer assigned to our case was Amy Guth. She handled our case WAY below our expectations. Majority of our discussions were conducted over the phone. Since these issues were of great importance, I feel they should have been addressed in person. This would have been more professional. There were times when our signatures were required on documents. NOTHING was ever explained. The papers were delivered by a messenger & then returned to Ms. Guth. With a messenger waiting there wasn't much time to read & absorb the contents. When we received our final papers with all the monetary information (which were also not explained) my daughter found an error. This was not taken too well by Ms. Guth. The figures were re-worked & my daughter was correct. That error should have been detected & corrected before those papers were given to us. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

This lawyer was rude, unprofessional & condescending. My parents lost their son through hospital negligence & are still grief stricken. She showed no compassion & was just downright rude. Absolutely no respect for others including her support staff. When the settlement offer came, she had the agreement messagered to my parents & the messenger was supposed to stand there & wait while they signed even though it clearly stated that she explained everything to them-WHICH SHE DID NOT. The firm's accounting depart. took ALOT more than what they were supposed to as their fee. When I called this to her attention she told me that I misread the court order, I was not a CPA & her acccounting department was correct. AND THEN SHE HUNG UP ON ME! THEY WERE WRONG but she didn't apologize. After everything was done, she got up, said goodbye to my father & turned her back on my mother and I. NEVER EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED MY MOTHER. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS FIRM. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL.
