Stole my money and moved to Tennessee. I gave him every dime I had trying to keep my kids away from my abusive ex. Now I only see my babies every other weekend. Heart breaking

Matt is awesome, He will answer all your questions when asked. I have gotten replies from him off the clock before I became a client. I have been on probation for almost 7 years now and was placed on probation under the new 1170 law. Matt had a warrant recalled and is working on having my probation terminated. Something that the best lawyers in Ventura County couldn't do for me. To have him as my professional representation was the best choice I have ever made. He doesn't care about the money he cares about his clients. That is what it is all about. Matt is the best and I recommend him to anyone who needs a GREAT Lawyer.

As a colleage of Matt Bromund, despite his history is an excellent attorney. He excels in a courtroom and is a powerful advocate. He has successfully litigated and handled matters in Ventura County for almost a decade and is well known in the community for being an effective advocate.

Matt has a very poor courtroom demeanor. I expected him to be more professional, but I think his belief is that yelling is professional. All he did was keep talking nonsense until the judge finally told him that he got the picture. The judge shook his head and nailed me for Matt's poor tactics and love of drama. He would get very angry if things didn't go his way and it was quite embarassing. I wish I had chosen a lawyer that was more level headed. Now I see why he was suspended. Save yourself some trouble and choose a lawyer that's more calm and understanding.

Folks, This attorney is unprofessional, lazy, NOT knowledgeable. IF you are looking to donate money hire him. He worked on my immigration issues. He keeps collecting money and DOES not deliver. You do not need to pay to learn lessons, LEARN from ours. Good luck.

Watch out for his billing. He tells and promises a flat fee, then as soon as the jury has your case, he tells you that you owe him for his trial time. This happened to all 3 of us who have hired him. Not only that, but if he gets a more interesting case that comes after you, you become non-existent. Other than that, he was knowledgeable and did argue my case to the best of his abilities.

Mr. Matthew Allen Bromund stole fees from his clients and law firm and tried to conceal it. He was caught and eventually admitted it in court in an attempt to avoid disbarment.
*Disbarred North Carolina 2005;
*Disbarred USMC JAG 2006;
*Suspended California 2010 for 2 years, three years probation. (links below)
In part the court found that Matt Bromund's "misconduct evidenced multiple acts of wrongdoing and demonstrated a pattern of misconduct", and decided that, "An order calling for any discipline short of disbarment for Bromund would not sufficiently protect the public..." (See NC link below). Matt Bromund is not what he appears to be and counts on unsuspecting often non english speaking or internet savvy clients. Spread the word.

About a year ago, my wife and I where in some trouble with our real estate agent. He demanded we pay him after we canceled a deal and when we refused, he threatened to sue use. After speaking with Mr. Bromund we knew all of our options and felt much better about our situation. To keep it short, Lets just say everything worked out. Thanks Mr. Btomund.
