Jason H. Clark said it was an easy case. After paying him, he sent this email: "we regret to advise you that we were unfortunately not successful in getting your unemployment referee decision reversed. The RAAC has approved Mr. Clark's flat fee of $750. This is because they feel we did everything we could to get your case reversed. If they felt by writing a legal argument we had no chance at winning or felt our arguments were not sound they would not have approved our fee." Please be careful of this scammer.

This office sent us a solicitation letter by mail advertising their services. When I called their offices the person we dealt with sounded very knowlegable and confident in the type of cases they win and that our case was a sure win - no doubt of the strenght of our case according to Mr Jason Clark. We made it very clear that we don't want to waist more money if it's not a 100% winnable case. Greg and Jason assured me that they will no doubt win this case. At the end we lost tha case and we have lost another $ 975 with no difference to the judgment or the status of the case.
Conclusion - we can't say it's a scam but for sure it's not worth paying them $ 975 for losing a case and zero change in result or circumstance - be very careful when listening to very convincing sales verbage that you have a very strong and winnable case, it is a scripted story.....not to be believed. Beware!!!

After talking to a few people I made an appointment to discuss some problems we had in the office with various employees now gone, some of them possibly serious. There are several things that "might" happen, but have not actually happened yet. Although Mr. Clark did recommend some policies to be used in the future, as I see it he treated me with respect by not recommending that we take any action that could cost legal fees now and might not be necessary. He only charged me about half as much for the appointment as I thought he would and and was quite generous with his time and knowledge, which is probably why he has been doing this so long. If someone has problems with labor or unemployment he is the best source I have found to turn to so far. Martin Langobardi.

We terminated a capable individual that just became a bad performer over time. He filed for unemployment and was granted it! We lost on two issues: Timeliness - our responses weren't received in time; and Determination on Separation - they approved the claimant's benefits. Upon receiving an unfavorable decision from the unemployment referee, I received several mailings from attorneys soliciting my business. Normally such correspondence is considered “ambulance chasing”. However, knowing that dealing with the unemployment bureaucracy is “difficult at best” on a good day, and “impossible” the rest of the time, I made two phone calls; Mr. Clark’s was the second call. From the moment I spoke with Mr. Clark’s phone representative I felt comfortable with the firm’s ability to vigorously pursue my case. From start to a successful conclusion, the “Jason Clark Law Firm” proactively stayed on top of the case. The opposition (employer) chose to drop their case rather than go before the referee. There is no doubt in my mind that their decision was based on the case Mr. Clark had presented against them! I wholeheartedly recommend Jason Clark. Things are very tough with workers in the construction industry and I had three employes that were giving me trouble that I dumped on this attorney at same time. It could have cost me a lot of money and I have paid much more in the past when I have had these problems. This attorney Clark knew just what to do and even corrected the judge a couple of times which was funny. I wish I could give him everything but he specializes in certain things.

This attorney took my wife's reemployment appeal case and the referee's decision was affirmed. Here are my concerns: 1. If he's been doing this so many years and is so competent, why could he not predict the loss in this very uncomplicated, straightforward case? If he cares so much about his client, why has he never called my wife on the phone after she was notified in writing by the appeals commission? A competent, caring professional calls and informs the client personally, explains, and expresses regret. In my opinion, the failures indicate that this attorney is simply making a living at filing useless paperwork that cost people money at a time when they can least afford it.

Our company Classie TRansportation first used attorney clark on an unemployment case where driver quit for his own personal reasons an was still was trying to collect on us. We hired him for an Unemployment Case and was supposeod to cost $800. He said our case was a little more complicated and charged $2000. After going to 5th District Court of Appeal, he wanted to charge another $700 for a written answer. He already had missed a deadline and the case was dismissed. He did get it opened up again but to have it overturned NOT in our favor after he was so sure we would not have to pay Unemployment on an employee who quit to move to another state. Be careful and hopefully it won't cost you so much money plus losing the case. He and his secretary are very rude and very demanding.

Mr. Clark was retained in 2008 to handle an unemployment insurance matter for my company. It was mismanaged from the beginning. A crucial deadline was missed, an appeal that should have been a routine filing or a simple phone call was misdirected and subsequently never received by the appropriate party. After in-depth research with both the Florida Unemployment Commission and the Agency for Workforce Innovation, I was able to determine that much of Mr. Clark's advice was, at best, misguided and at worst, erroneous. On top of all of this was Mr. Clark's decidedly arrogant and condescending attitude and comments. It was an expensive, unpleasant and unproductive experience. We did not prevail in unemployment insurance apppeal. I highly recommend not retaining Jason Clark to handle your case.
