NEVER,NEVER,NEVER......HIRE MS LADD. HIRED HER, PAID HER THOUSANDS OF $$$$ AND NEVER SEEN OR HEARD FROM HER AGAIN. SENT E MAILS, CALLED HOME, CELL (TEXT) AND OFFICE #'S, ALL VOICE MAILS SAID, U CAN'T LEAVE A MESSAGE, MAILBOX FULL. WENT TO WAKE COUNTY COURTHOUSE AND HAD MORE THAN 1 PERSON TELL ME THEY HAD ISSUES WITH CONTACTING HER. FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE STATE BAR AND WON!!!

I completely agree with the previous rating. Suzanne Ladd has been an absolute nightmare! She has given every excuse in the book for not following up on promised communications and she has caused tremendous, unnecessary delays and cost to both myself and the other party in my case. Unless you want someone who just initially sounds very excited about taking your case and appears willing to handle your case in an expeditious manner but then drops the ball big time, I would NOT recommend Suzanne Ladd.

She seriously made me waste 1 year and $14K with her lack of availability, constant excuses and poor representation. Many of my required items needed for submission missed their deadlines and often she missed dates of hearings. She sensed no urgency in representing or defending my positions, and often billed me for my inquiries as to status and requests for updates. She complained of being busy, sick, computer down or the other attorneys lack of response. After a year I had nothing to show for all the money I spent and had to hire a new attorney and start over. I would not recommend Suzanne.

Uncomplicated domestic abuse case spouse alcoholic becomes complicated by plantiff representation. Paralegal Sara Fisher terrific. Atty, mentally absent. Unknowledgeable about domestic abuse victims. Unprepared in trial. excellent in DEFENDING HERSELF. Scrambled at llth hr.cell phone uncharged,never thought of key info. to prepare At Trial,never objected, cross examined or got up off seat. Many missed opportunities! Restraining order dismissed leaving client defenseless. Stated she would have to consult with her sr.partners for answers Should have done that PRIOR to trial Great at getting a restraining order dropped-Forgot which side she was defending. Law firm only as good as attorney you get. Best ones hard to secure leaving you with the inexper, overwhelmed. REMEMBER, WE HIRE THEM AND CAN FIRE THEM. 100,000 choices out there! Abused -call INTERACT first for free advice. You get what you pay for. Not a time to shop for bargins!
