The took over $30,000 in legal Fees and did nothing they saw the opportunity of a desperate mother. And Abuse Father I find it funny the last year she did the same to another client if you look at the reviews and after she took all that money she become buddy with the defendant and they work out a deal thinking the I was not going to pick up on it to give him 50% custody on paper and when all set and done I was going to have the kids 7 days a week and he would no responsibility financial on paper with the court and to take him back to court after I paid a fortune I would have been impossible the day I fired her I got my kids thank god but I don't blame Sam for this But Jenny is the brain of this office at the end Sam would not even come out of the office cause he knew what his mother was doing and she truly believe the I would not figure out and like her other client she treat me to scare me and ask me for more money so would just agree very sad very cruel to put autism kid through th

Jenny took my money and almost ruined my chances of keeping my child away from an abusive father. not only did she fail to communicate to the judge the existence of a restraining order in the case for several months - putting my child through hell and advising me to help the father who had hit me in front of minors. she had the audacity to call me derogatory names and insinuated I was going to loose my kid. thankfully someone else did what she failed to do and my kid was shielded from an emotionally and physically abusive parent. i believe she wanted to settle giving into my ex demands instead of fight for my cause- a child’s wellbeing is not for sale!

I had truly hit rock bottom. I loss my children and had to move out my home and give it all up to my abusive husband. If you're going through a tough divorce Jenny is the one for you. My situation had serious issues right from the start. Took my money never filed important paperwork as stated by the judge then told me she would “gladly file once you top up your retainer fee to $10,000” Then told me she was fighting hard for me despite never fighting to not have my case drag on y filing the needed paperwork!!! Instead told me she was working with the other side to come up with a compromise that I was never aware of. If you’re black, do not use Jenny!!!!

Jenny Berse has been representing me for approximately 9 years now. When I say that she is the best of the best, I mean it. Jenny has been the best advocate I could have found. She pays close attention to all the important details, but does NOT lose focus on the big picture and ultimate goals - both short and long term. Jenny is very dedicated to ensuring that, to the extent possible, the children are not harmed by the family matter going on between adults. Jenny has a great personality and is very friendly and polite with all she interacts with - including the other attorneys, judge, mediator, court staff and even my soon to be ex-wife. However, as she acts that way, in no way is Jenny compromising or ignoring the fundamental needs and positions required to properly obtain favorable results for my children and me. DANGER. KEEP AWAY FROM THIS ATTORNEY. She lied right from the start by stating her fee would be reduced because her son would do some of the work; his fee being much less than hers. That never happened. She charged me her full rate of $375 per hour. To add insult to injury I lost custody of my child because according to her "it may not be worth fighting for". She said this after I lost custody. To make matters worse she did not follow through with important tasks such as sending the Judge an important follow up letter. This is the topper though. After admitting that she failed to send that letter to the Judge, she billed me at $375 an hour as if she had drafted and sent the letter to the Judge. She bills for every last $, and bills $50 for typing 2 words. She is totally incompetent and will brag that she is the greatest attorney to hit the face of this earth. She will also tell you over and over again that she is going to "fight for you". Completely untrue. Horrible attorney.

As a client of Jenny Berse I have to say she truly cares about getting the best settlement for her clients. She is not a clock watcher and she looked to protect me through this very difficult divorce process. For example she made sure what was in the martial separation agreement could be implemented after the divorce. She has a ton of experience dealing with judges and the court system. She also knows a lot about accounting and law. I find her knowledge base and drive is needed to get a decent settlement.

I highly recommend Jenny. I used her from the very beginning of my divorce when I was scared and afraid, to the end, and she got me an excellent settlement. She really took her time explaining everything to me and did not bill me for everything. I also used her after my divorce because my husband was not following the agreement, and she again got me a very good result.

I was married for 7 years and have a 6 year old & a 4 year old son with my ex wife. I learned she no longer loved me and that she was cheating on me with a co-worker. I contacted my first lawyer, and after giving him 5 grand and waiting several months, I felt he didn't do anything and then wanted more money from me. Having not seen any results, I contacted Jenny (whom I heard about from a friend). She was fantastic - she did seemingly much more work for what probably was not that much money based on how much my first lawyer wanted. Resultantly, I am now a free man thanks to her. I feel that if I was still with my first lawyer that this case would still be going on and that it would have cost me a lot more money. I was lucky to have her as a lawyer because she got me a fair deal compared to what my wife was looking for (I was awarded weekends from friday night to monday morning although my wife didn't want me to be awarded with any time at all whatsoever).

Terrible office staff. You can never get a hold of her. She is afraid to speak up and defend your position. She is well spoken & tell you what you want to hear, then after she has your money, she will do nothing except charge you everytime you speak to here about moving forward with your divorce.
