Promise the world deliver the bills. Same as mentioned by others, offer intern work at lower price and deliver absolutely nothing. I was told I was a "difficult client" at $350 an hour yes I demand and expect things to be done in a reasonable time fashion with results. These clowns couldn't even get a court date!!!! Gross system with gross lawyers. I have taken it upon myself to do this without a liar sorry lawyer and have already better results. I gave him a 5 on knowledge only because they know their stuff but would rather draw it out as long as you can just to take your money.

I used this lawyer as Google reviews were good. Wow was I disappointed all he cares about is billing you regularly while getting nothing done. He sometimes uses his students saying it will save money but then charges double to overlook their work. He did absolutely nothing for me not before charging me close to $20000. I wish I didn't use him at all.

I found Scott on a web-site after I fired my first lawyer who didn't do much for more than $10,000. I was working with an associate that kept costs lower and Scott over-saw anything that was questionable. I was able to self-represent in court, had papers checked and advised how to act in court. In a couple of months I had everything accomplished that never happened with 2 years of another lawyer, and a fraction of the cost. Thank-you Scott and Aman

I really liked Scott and felt he got to the heart of the matter and was very matter of fact. My only real complaint was that I misunderstood the fee schedule--perhaps only heard what I expected to hear--but what I expected to pay and what i did pay were very different numbers. That is why I gave lower numbers for communication and value. Other than that I thought I was well represented, and was pleased with the service I got.

I picked Scott Taylor from a list of lawyers by a GUT FEELING that. I am so glad that I went with that feeling. Scott represented me in the separation of my common-law relationship. He was very knowledgeable and professional and he let me know exactly what I was in for. He walked me through all of the steps. His articling student, Aman Oberoi was also very helpful and knowledgeable and I know that he has a very successful career ahead of him. He was instrumental in my case being resolved in mediation and if it wasn't for the both of them, I would have a lot more in legal fees not to mention I would have been bullied into settling for a lot less that what I was entitled. I would not hesitate to refer family and/or friends to Mr Taylor. It is nice to have someone on your side that cares.

Mr Taylor has been very knowledgeable and supportive in my family case, which has been a challenging one. He prioritizes well and tried to keep everything as cost effective for me as possible. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Scott was a great attorney. My Ex and I split with little animosity and we both just wanted what was best for our kids. Scott let me "drive the bus" and, while making sure that I knew my rights, allowed me to determine the details of my separation agreement. The whole process from the day I moved out to the day that I received my final order was about 20 months and probably cost me about $5000. There was very little back and forth between our attorneys. This seemed reasonable to me based on conversations with friends who have gone through the same process. Overall, it was a much less painful experience that I expected.

Mr. Taylor helped me though a rough time and ensured that I got the time I needed with my children. He was always available when I needed him and he always stood up for my children and my needs against a hostile and difficult ex. I strongly recommend Mr. Taylor to everyone without him I know I wouldn't have my girls as much as I do.

Rec. Scott as a referral from an acquaintance. Luckily, I'm only out the $25 consult fee....as he seemed to not really care, ie : terrible communication skills ; it was exhausting trying to converse with him. He couldn't shuffle me out the door quick enough. Very self-important - just look at his business card : it's NOT very professional !! When I arrived 15min. early for 10am app't, he was right there as I walked in. He said 'hello', but quickly ran into his office & closed the door. Then rang his secretary twice on the 'phone. hmmm...she's 20 feet away & I am in in between, in the waiting area. *sigh* Not a very personable individual. Red flags up - I wouldn't recommend.

I have nothing but praise for Mr. Taylor's ability to give top quality client service - his knowledge / communications / work ethics / and value he gave me was first class and very professional. He is the type of lawyer you want to deal with when you are confront with situations you have no knowledge about - he explains and keeps you fully aware of your legal rights and the rights of the other party. I would highly recommend Mr. Taylor.

Scott Taylor was extremely helpful in helping me prepare for a hearing, providing me with crucial and knowledgeable input and direction. I was able to represent myself, armed with facts and legal basis, and gained a huge victory in our steps toward a fair custody arrangement prior to divorce.

Mr. Taylor has represented me throughout my separation proceedings and I have found him to be very knowledgeable, detailed, practical and non-confrontational. Having Scott advising me and protecting my rights has been of great significance legally and a great deal of relief as well. Scott and his assistant Nicole work very well together and I find it amazing as to how much they can accomplish in a short time. Nicole is very knowledgeable, efficient and very supportive. As a father I was especially grateful for the concern and support that Scott shows regarding my children and their well being. Having Scott representing me throughout these proceedings has been invaluable and I would highly recommend his firm to my closest of friends or family if needed.

I was impressed with Scott's honesty. A friend wanted him to do something borderline and he refused. Not something ones associates with lawyers. He cares.

If you can't afford an attorney but need advice to "do it yourself" Scott is good at that I haven't found anyone else who offers this service

If you want to spend a lot of money and get very little done Scott is the one for you. He will completely rip you off. His fee's are absolutely ridiculous. I spent close to $10,000 for a financial statement and no separation agreement. The only thing I achieved with Scott was to accumulate more debt. I have since fired him. Scott is more than happy to take as much of your money as he can. Scott shared my confidential information with others completely unrelated to my case. He will breech the confidentiality agreement. Scott will too sell the services of his spouse, Terri, a counsellor, as much as he can. More money for his firm. Be wary of the Meetup group - Kitchen Table Divorce - that is how I was drawn into his web. Stay far, far away from this rip off artist.

Like the other, unusuable advise, over $1,200 for one letter (said he had to research), bad and advice that wouldn't stand up in court. Mine was family, not married, no kids, should not have been a big deal. GOt advice from 3 other lawyers on his advise, and they laughed at how bad I got ****. Ended up costing me over $50,000 because of bad advice.
