I would recommend Joan to anyone in a heartbeat. Joan is extremely knowledgeable, professional, but also very caring and compassionate during the difficult times you are likely facing. Joan first represented me about 7 years ago, and now again over the past 2 years and she still remembered just about every detail from my case. Joan has not only been an amazing lawyer for me over the years, but she has also helped me grow into a stronger person in the process. She has pushed me when I’ve needed it and it is very appreciated. If I ever need legal assistance again, I would absolutely go to Joan.

Took a year and a half to get my house signed over and did not take care of support payments and all for $15,000. I taxed her bill and got a reduction but not enough. She renovated her office in the middle of my court action and never returned my calls. She distorted the facts and made the other side look worse than I had told her. Find someone else to hire unless you like those tactics. She has no problem billing hours.

Ms Dreyer and her staff have the utmost professionalism both in and out of court. She communicates very well and is organized and expedient when dealing with the court system. Highly recommend.

She manipulates, distorts the facts & made the trial longer with irrelevant evidence just to cast the opposite party in bad light. She backs up her client no matter what and her approach is deprived of ethics. She lacks attention to detail thereby leading to incorrect and misleading information submitted in court, on oath. The only good thing is that her staff makes parties aware when she is out of office.

Joan Dreyer took me on as a legal aide client. She listened, guided, showed she cared, and most important won my battle against my ex, "The Monster"!! Joan takes her job as a lawyer seriously and takes every action to assure you as a client is completely satisfied. Very Professional and Knowledgeable in her field. I would very highly recommend Ms. Joan Dreyer and her associates!!! :)

this lawyer overbooks to the point that she cannot focus on the client's needs. She leaves things so long that work has to be redone and then bills for this work. She is unclear with instructions to client. Half her office staff is rude. The office does not respond in a timely fashion to phone calls or emails and has taken up to 6 weeks to respond to telephone messages. Most recent email that was left unanswered was replied to 3 months later.

In reviewing some of the postings it looks like someone is a bit bitter about losing a case. My experience in having Joan as my lawyer has been a great experience. I can honestly say that Joan is not on the "woman's side" or even the "man's side" when I sat down with her the first and really the only thing she had on her mind was my CHILD!! Yes she gave me some advice that I was not at first wanting to follow but when i sat down and actually thought it over, it WAS best for my kid. So instead of being selfish and wanting things my way I followed her advice and I am so glad I did. Prior to me hiring Joan I did my research (obviously there are a few people who made comments on here who didn't) Joan has been practicing for 10+ years and has only gone to actual Trial 3 times. Most of her cases are settled out of court. Lastly, if your legal fees are too high, stop thinking about yourself and how much you can hurt your ex and learn how to get along and your fees will be significantly lower.

My experience with Joan and her 2 assistants, Christina and Trisha was stellar. Both girls have been there for many years and can walk you through many areas of the Law. One should be so lucky to have such dedicated and knowledgeable staff on board. Prior to even having my 30 minute free consultation with Joan which actually lasted almost an hour, Christina had spent a considerable amount of time with me on the phone answering my questions and helped guide me through what the overall process would look like. I knew then I was in good hands with this Law Firm. For me personally, I was very fortunate to have Joan there beside me and in my court so-to-speak. She stands her ground and will not put up with any nonsense which you will experience and appreciate right away. At the end of the day, Joan is a very kind woman who has your best interests at heart when having to go through life's hardships. You have to be pro-active yourself to! It is part and parcel of any successful outcome.

Joan is an outstanding lawyer, after 3 years of litigation there is no one that I would rather had on my side than Joan. Her wealth of knowledge when dealing with the courts is extensive. Always informative and up front on proceedings. As a father dealing with the challenge of primary residence of his 5 children, I needed representation that dealt with action and not just words, unfortunately in the courts this is not a fast solution, having the proper representation like Joan for my lawyer makes a difference. She genuinely cares and understands all the frustration and aggravation that one is facing during these proceedings. She is constantly supporting and telling everything as it is not blowing smoke. When in court Joan is there for you, she can and will face the challenge head on. Remember, your legal counsel can only do so much for you. Legal costs are increased by parties not cooperating or agreeing on issues, that is why having Joan representing me was a sound decision.

Joan was great, tenacious, and explained all of my rights and available options along the way. She was extremely knowledgable and helpful and her assistant, Trisha, was a pleasure to deal with. Ms. Dreyer uses any means to ensure she's got your money,i.e. having her office staff to swear Affidavits, a practice I found is not followed by other lawyers and frowned upon by the courts. She ensures she has you as her client for life or as long as you pay her bills. She aggravates already existing conflict with the other party and her cases last for years. Unless you have hundreds of thousands of $$$ to spare and years of headache and heartache I would recommend find another lawyer.

she gets personally involved and makes the cases longer than what they should be;IE.. a 6 month case will be extended to 2 years. Other lawyers have great difficulty in dealing with her. She uses her servers and staff to write false affidavits against the other party( true of her staff : Miss Armstrong. She is on woman's side. She uses an avalanche of affidavits to confuse the courts and the other party.Many litigants have complained about her to Judges but how they say "they are all family".

She Didn;t returns calls for 2 month & many many calls & took our money & did nothing for us but delay us, she seems to only be on the womans side, terrible experience with her !
