Mcdonald & Partners LLP,Garry Joseph specifically and Michael Stangarone are useless to put it mildly! My file was with them for several years...in that time zero was accomplished except their out of control billing! Although i handed them on a silver platter all the illegal activities my ex was doing in order to hide money in order to avoid paying proper child and spousal support...they sat on their hands & litteraly did nothing. During mediation Michael Stangarone negotiated $1,500/month for support (LAUGHABLE- A MONKEY COULD HAVE DONE BETTER)although my ex was earning over $500,000/year +++. Ladies Garry has no respect for women, unless you have a house worth millions with equity. BtW mMichel will make a pass at you, so beware, and Garry will avoid all your phone calls and stand you up if you have a meeting...CHAUVINIST...TH MOST HORRID HUMAN BEING!! ALL GLITZ AND GLAMOUR.

Joseph works pro bono to represent parents who are fighting against their children being allowed to access vaccinations. It is my opinion that paying for him is funding and supporting the anti vax cause. You can look up his anti vax cases on CanLII, and also a case where he was sued by his own clients for unethical behaviour.

I was referred to Gary Joseph's team for a complex family case. I won't go into details on my private matter, as short it was messy and needed an expert approach, he simply is one. Gary holds very high standards in his representation.

I am so grateful that I had a chance to have Gary as a lawyer. Gary is so knowledge, he was patient, and help me a lot to finish my difficult divorce. It is was a very stressful process and he did everything to make it more easier for me. I would highly recommend Gary.

gary has some experience but has no integrity/character. He is rude and demeaning to his own clients. he is a narcissist. He wont answer your calls.
can work hard at times but he works for himself not his client. His letters and emails are substandard and lacking factual data. the documents he files with the court will get you shredded by the judge, he will tell you to lie to the court and then wont be around come time to explain. he charges top dollar, but all you will get are delays and more unnecessary motions. his goal is to extract as much money as he can from you. he will drag out your case, and easily charge you 6 figures before you know it. and just before the trial after he has made all his money he will leave you at the alter, he will desert you and say he is too busy for a trial, or something came up and you are forced to get a new lawyer at the last second. his only goal is make money, he does not care about you or your children. your children will hate him.patheti

Heads up; This guy is as litigious as they come. He has no motive to settle a case, he fails to respond to any relevant issues at hand to move forward with a meaningful settlement, he just keeps churning the the legal wheels ... Hmmm, I wonder why? $

I would give almost anything to have found Gary Joseph sooner. I spent over three years with ineffective, dawdling, overcharging lawyers. I turned to Gary when it turned out my husband had lied about property values during the mediation. Gary stepped right in, figured out the issues and threatened to file an injunction. Suddenly the other side sat up and took notice. He’s smart, he’s organized, and he’s tough. You can’t change a cheating ex husband, but you can change lawyers. Thanks Gary.

Gary is an AMAZING lawyer!!
I highly recommend her to any fathers that feel like it is an uphill battle.
I was going trough a very messy separation, with an ex-wife that was very uncooperative who regularly called the police on my falsely accused me of several terrible things.
Gary worked her magic and I was granted Sole custody of the two children with no alimony payments. To put this more into context, I was the only oncome earner in the home, while my ex was a stat at homemaker. We have several investment facilities in my wife’s name. Gary got me the kids, the house, the investments, and no future alimony payments.
Gary basically helped me win the divorce lottery. I will be forever grateful for Gary and all the people at McDonald and Partners!!

Gary was my second lawyer to date, thinking that I would be better served than my previous lawyer that was slow and ineffective. Boy, was I wrong! This guy will literally only take your money and get NOTHING done. Please - I urge anyone reading this not to retain this man or anyone at his firm. There are a number of more decent (and effective) family lawyers out there. Do not trust anything he will tell you about the likelihood of success at your case. Take it from me - make a deal with your ex, even if it will cost you MILLIONS more. It's not worth the slow death of the alternative and dealing with buffoons like Gary.

i had this lawyer for my separation agreement, they took 5 years and not finished, a lot of money for it, i waste my time by leaving messages on the answer machine and emails and no call back from them or emails too. no tenacity what so ever, laziness on the job, work ethic less than zero, now i doubt about knowledge. at the last moment they told me that some area are not dealing so, i had to engage another lawyer but because they let me know too late that, i lost income and big chunk of my share. i may loose my house because they wont finalize the settlement offer. The bank need everything to transfer title without they won't renew the mortgage without this paper. i was billed for an hour on phone conversation with opposite lawyer and after they told me that nothing was accomplished because the other client was unavailable and i was told what they talk about. the settlement was signed from both sides and they could not tell me if it was filed in court.

This gentleman was recommended by a friend who used his firm. I am not a lawyer so I needed someone to explain the process in layman's terms. He guided me step by step to a successful conclusion. He is not the cheapest on the block but like everything in life you get what you pay for.

Thi sman worked hard for me in my divorce and his staff was also very helpful. He is expensive but does an amazing job and is worth the money. he doesn't fool around and gets action done

Gary Joseph is expensive and dishonest lawyer. He was my lawyer for 6 months in the family case. He did everything in order to make the case more complicated. His office MacDonald and Partners LLP released the right of my signature to opposing lawyer for signing the consent which was filed to the court. He threatened me to quit my case if raise the issue of that forged signature during the first Case Conference. He was misrepresenting facts at the Case Conference and I had to ask a judge to allow me providing my submissions. He accepted the service in the civil case against me without without my permeation. It is not negligence, he did everything intentionally. His assistant has helped him in his dishonesty.

He is absolutely wonderful. Great litigator and the associate assigned to me was very helpful. He is very good at results and knows what he is needs to get your case resolved. I would recommend him to anyone in a divorce situation.

He has been to court for me and my spouse on four occasions and each and everytime he has won. He cut to the chase didnt play the games. He didnt have need to resort to that. He was very knowlegdeable and stuck to the law. I would and do reccommend him anytime. You get what you give to any lawyer. So any fees can add up if you are wasting time. We needed quality and that is what we got.
