Mario Herman represented me and other franchisess in a group action that continued over a three year period, including three weeks of arbitration in a state that neither he nor I lived in, so time away from home and practice was necessary. I got to know Mario as a legal professional and as a person during that time. The principles involved in the case and the need to right a wrong mattered far more to him than his pocketbook. The case lingered on but his fee, that he initially committed to, never increased. Simply put, Mario is one smart lawyer, agressive as required and committed to his clients. You just can't do better with Marion as your advocate. What initially appeared a very difficult case,our adversary had more money and more manpower, Marion turned around. We won the case. Mario Herman was recommended by our former Franchisee Assoc., as a Legal Eagle (TOP Franchise Atty) with experience in Franchise Law & Arbitration. Our former franchisor sued us for breach of contract & for over $500k in damages & over $100k in atty fees and Mario fought for us from Day One on the 1st con/call thru the 2yrs of litigation to include arbitration and Federal Court Reconsiderations. He told us we'd probably win and he lost the case. He was embarassing in front of the judge.. Obviously unsure of what he was doing. Also, he didn't argue our defense against the other side. For that I ask why did we pay thousands of dollars? Could've done better myself and saved the money! If you need a franchise lawyer look around at others. Mario us a complete waste of money and time.
