Richard is a very knowledgeable lawyer he knows what he is doing. And is a stand up guy! I felt like he was in my corner and he certainly went to bat for me. I went through a couple of lawyers before I found Richard and I’m glad I did. He can be reached easily which is rare for a lawyer. If you need council Richard is your guy!

Richard offered me advice when I was about to go to trial without a lawyer. He was very understanding helpful and upfront. Gave me a lot of help and his demeanor was awesomme. It turned out I didn't need him but needless to say if I did he would be the man for the job.

I would absolutely recommend Richard to anyone in need of a solid defense lawyer. I was falsely accused of a serious crime and had an aggressive prosecutor on the case, but Richard was able to get the case dropped and kept me informed of everything happening at all times. His rates might seem high to some, but it is a fair price for having peace of mind and knowing he will do everything possible to defend you.

Richard represented me in a case last month where he was able to utilize his relationships and communication skills to arrange a plea deal. A joint submission was filed and I was able to avoid jail time. These events dramatically impacted my life but with the help of such an effective attorney I am able to look forward to the future. I had a very pleasant experience with Richard he was so helpful and hard working, he went to all my court dates for me so I didn't have to miss work. Richard won my case AND got all my charges dropped!Richard was so easy to get ahold of and never kept me waiting. Richard knows what he's doing and it truly shows. I cannot give enough praise about Mr. Ballantyne. I'd give him 10 out of 5 stars if I could: he's professional, knows his legal craft, tries his best to represent you fairly, and tells it like it is.
As mentioned he's not cheap, but legal representation is not something you should cheap out on in today's deleterious and complicated court matters. BUT is priced fairly for the positive outcome we were expecting.
Would definitely use (and highly recommend) him forthwith for any legal matters!

Richard was awesome. He told us the truth, didn't beat around the bush, but yet gave us confidence that he would work as hard as he could for us. Richard was very fair with his fee. We were reassured he would work hard for it. We paid him upfront once and left it in his hands, very good feeling.
