Georgia Thomas is the perfect attorney for military members, and am very glad I trusted my gut after our first meeting to hire here as my attorney for my divorce! Her office staff as well as her where very professional, proactive and patient during my divorce. Each time I reached out to either her or her office's staff they either answered my question then and there or responded within the hour. Due to my service commitment in the AF I was consistently changing meeting times/conference calls due to work, which she endured with me to include over weekends or late nights. I highly recommend her services. She always made me and my children feel like we were the only case she worked tirelessly though we knew we weren't. Even after our case finalized she made it a point to check in with us and see how we were adjusting. I 100% recommend her for anyone going through such a difficult time. If you are going through a divorce Georgia should be your first and last stop for an attorney.

I was in need of a good family law attorney and came across Georgia Thomas, and am very glad I did!

You will be making an irreversible mistake if you hire this attorney. Go to Pensacola or Tallahassee (or Tampa) and get a real family law attorney. Georgia is not even a big fish in a tiny pond.

I hired Ms. Thomas for an uncontested divorce. It took less then 2 months from start to finish and didn't cost me out the you know what. She was always available to answer any questions I had and kept me informed of what the next steps were. I hope I never have to go through another divorce, but if I do I'm going to make sure I live in the Panhandle of Florida so I can hire her again.

Georgia Thomas has handled my case for me and a family member. Every time we came out on top where we belonged. I had no idea how important it was to have someone not only vested in knowledge of the law, but knows the system as well as she does. Most importantly, it is obvious that she is well respected by the judges and opposing lawyers as well. That is something you can't get everywhere. Ms. Thomas represented me in more than one case and has done an absolutely outstanding job she is very aggressive and not afraid to take a difficult case, and always been able to win in cases I thought were unwinnable. I called Georgia Thomas's office to schedule and appointment for a consultation. Her receptionist took a while and told me my soon to be ex husband hadn't been in the office so they scheduled my appointment. I found it weird but the receptionist called 2 days in advance to verify that I could come to the appointment on a Friday. I work full time and had a meeting come up so I had to get back to them, when I told her I would call her within 24 hours of my appointment she told me she had to cancel my appointment with their office. Fast forward 1 week later. I called back to make an appointment and the receptionist informed me that my SOON TO BE ex husband had had a consultation with them THE DAY THEY CANCELLED MY APPT. Not really surprised that my husband did this but I am surprised by their professionalize. I surely hope she screws over my husband like all of her other clients! If you choose to schedule an appointment with her BEWARE!

Mrs. Thomas says all the right things to get you to retain her as your attorney. HOWEVER, once the papers are signed and you have forked over thousands of dollars that quickly changes. She will not fight for what you want at all. She is so rude and flaky. I think Mrs. Thomas forgets that her clients PAID for her services. We are not charity cases and even still her attitude is unacceptable! Worst attorney ever!

What a horrible expensive experience. As if divorce isn't bad enough, you get stuck with such a lousy attorney to walk you through the process. Never available, and very slow processing paperwork. The things I've learned now that should have been included in my divorce decree, she never even mentioned. I definitely didn't get my money's worth.

My friend used her and found her to be very rude and flaky. One day she was nice and acted like she had his best interest then the next acted like she didn't even care are was acting on his behalf. Threaten to fire him every other week. He paused his balance then the next day asked for twice as much more. I would never recommend this bipolar attorney to anyone.

Georgia Thomas represented me through a long, difficult divorce. She is extremely knowledgable, attentive and agressive. I would absolutely recommend her to family/friends. I am active duty military and she has repeatedly proven very accurate understanding of all pay/benefits/entitlements that were pertinent to my case. Do not listen to the negative reviews. This was my first divorce which i needed a lawyer because i had children involved. I was very scared and upset with the whole process and georgia was very kind to me and she told me everything would be ok and that i needed to com down and breathe. She even gave me her personal cell number and would text me and ask me how i was doing and hows my boys. I began to build a very comfortable relationship with Mrs.Thomas very quickly and all my stress and worries were alot easier for me to manage. I mean divorce is hard and when you have children in the middle its so sad. The important thing she stressed to me was to always do the right thing and think about things and relax and let her handle all the problems for me. I am military and i am use to doing everything myself but this time i relaized i cannot do this without someone who knows the laws and is good at there job to get me my rights to my children. I love this lady and i would tell any of my friends or a total stranger to hire her.

This attorney represented me in my original case and did exceptionally well. However, when I retained her services again for some follow up work, she was initially extremely helpful and convinced my case would be a 'shoo-in.' Then over the course of several weeks, she became increasingly flaky, her advice became fragmented and conflicting, and she resorted to making jokes at my expense while on teleconferences with her. Ultimately, she 'quit' and accused ME of being insulting. Upon consulting with other attorneys regarding her conduct, it was noted on many occasions that this was her 'm.o.' and her behavior was not surprising. Very, very, very disappointing.

In a word, disappointing. I would never use this attorney again. In my opinion, she was extremely rude to me (ie, her client), and then folded like a wet paper napkin in court. She told me what a joke the opposing attorney was only to lose the case convincingly to said attorney. I can only speak from my experience, but it was terrible. I would NOT recommend Georgia Thomas.
