Very misleading, unknowledgeable of bankruptcy. Paralegal handled case. I was told by filing bankruptcy on my ex-husband's mortgage that would take my name off since had fallen several months behind on the payments. One year down the road I'm served with papers for this piece of mortgage that ex is foreclosing on with my name still on it! I called the foreclosure lawyer and he explained to me I had been mislead. I CANNOT get my name off of old mortgage by filing bankruptcy. My name is still on there so now I have a bankruptcy on my credit along with a nice foreclosure/judgement agaist me! All because I trusted he knew what he was doing!
