I had a messy divorce case in Brampton with my ex wife and ex lawyer. I decided to search online, and got referred to Nella Macchia. I changed lawyers, because my ex lawyer billed me with $36,000, and did nothing to help my case. I retained Nella Macchia, where she assisted me with all my legal issues. Together, we resolved Children Aids Case, Child Custody Support, Separation Agreement, and filed the divorce. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with her legal services. Ms. Macchia is the most thorough, well-prepared and competent lawyer I have ever encountered in the real estate and family law practices. She is aware of the issues, and knows when to update myself, or my family. I would highly recommend her. Don't get duped into using a low brow lawyer who may appear to be cheaper in price. I have seen so many people purchasing property with major headaches. I can never repay what Nella has done for me. Thank you.

Took years to get any where. Never shared info from opposing lawyer.. omitted import info on a offer in hopes to drag it out longer than need to be. should be on watch list with with UPPER Canada Law Society. My good friend had a similar problem after his divorce, and worse when he passed. Inaccurate paper work.

Raised rates significantly in the middle of an action, left me with no choice but to accept. Went 3 months without hearing from her. When on vacation, an urgent request came in from opposing lawyers and she refused to hand over to another lawyer to help or to deal with it while on vacation. Never did acknowledge or deal with it. Spent 10's of thousands of dollars with nothing to show for it. When I finally switched lawyers she was very slow to send over material - took weeks - and still months later has not sent over all correspondence between herself and opposing lawyer.
