9 yrs. after the divorce I need it a divorce certificate from Madison Wisconsin but the divorce case wasn't registered in Madison WI by Neterval because Mr. Neterval didn't send the divorce information to Madison WI. Vital records: it took me time and money to do what the attorney should have done but he didn't and when I asked him about it he got angry and yelled at me and said he was no longer my attorney: Just the facts.

This man is nothing more than an abuser that takes advantage of those in need. Very disrespectful from the start. Accuses you of lying without knowing facts. He's not interested in fighting for you but ready to work with what the other parties want. I would rather go pro se that deal with this man for another minute. His idea of a consultation is telling me that what I filed was stupid and telling me that he was going to talk to the others to determine what to do. HORRIBLE!!

He is not my lawyer but my children's mother's. He has some how gotten her to only take his advice in our family matter. She refuses to listen to counselors, friends or family. He even tried to blame me for his client not following the court order. It is his job to explain it to her, not mine. The courts agreed. He refuses to consider the children, just that his client get everything she wants, Max child support and limits my time to less than 8% of their lives. Poor excuse for a human being.

I think he's a psycho drug infested narciscist. Instead of getting my self employed business and personal belongings divorce case ... he told me in an uncalled for ""RANTING psychotic RAGE""to get a job at mcdonalds. Have witness. I suggest he scrub toilets at a battered women's shelter. I could go on......

Wish we would have seen these reviews before we hired him (Joe). We let him go within two telephone calls. He does not treat his clients with respect (talks down, belittles, judges people before ever getting specifics) and he generalized our case...basically dissuaded my husband from continuing his custody case (which my husband just won by the way). Joe's ignorance is obvious...do not waste your time.

Unprofessional, opinionated, disrespectful and arrogant. No matter what side of the table you are in an attorney should never call any of the parties "pig headed" with the sole purpose to make the case more difficult.

This attorney's value depends on what side of his sliding fee scale you happen to fall. Basically, you get what you pay for. In my case, I was on the lower side of the fee scale. So he basically refused to file necessary motions that would have more efficiently resolved my case. After we parted ways, I handled my case Pro Se which has completely turned the case in my favor. I am a law student which he was not aware of. If he thinks you have an easy case or you are easily "suckered", then he is definitely the attorney for you.

Joe handled my divorce case and childsupport issues after the divorce was final. You know exactly what to expect. When retaining Joe, you will sign a form stating, he can terminate his services, if you are not helping the case. Joe, is direct when needed information. I have read the other reviews.In my opinion, any ill feelings were due to the effort the clients put in to their case. I was never treated poorly,or talked down to, on any level. If you want the best, Joe is the best.

He handled my divorce case and was agressive for me. I did not have to worry about anything. He got back to me right away anytime I called or had any questions. Thank you Joe for handling my case.

dont know what everyones deal is with Joe. He was a great lawyer for me and defended me great. Sure he is difficult to deal with sometimes but he gets his job done. If you want a lawyer who does his job and will get you results that you are looking for go to Joe

Joe was able to suggest a computer program that my other attorney didn't. He does want to just "get the case over with," because he is a non-profit attorney. You won't get someone to "fight" for what could be in the best interest of your child(ren).

Joe is very rude, arrogant, and in-accurate. He argued with me and advocated for my ex! Why is the social worker referring people to this ****?!? He is very un-polite and un-helpful. Doesn't follow through with feedback or simple scheduling questions. Don't waste your time or money on his abusive and non-effective confusion.

Ripped me off really bad, especially while down on my luck! Unprofessional attitude towards me treated me less than a poor person seeking legal aid. Ignored my phone calls to reschedule an appointment as well as to get a refund of my $175.00 paid in full.
