Cedric was very unprofessional, unfriendly, unprepared, tardy and not at all an advocate. I would suggest that you look elsewhere for a lawyer if you want someone who will fight for you.

Extremely unprofessional. Worst lawyer I have ever talked to in 16 years. He should have never been called to the bar. Keep searching for another lawyer.

Cedric has worked very hard for me over the past couple years from criminal law to family law. He helped me to get my son back and got me atleast 10 diversions and to this day I do not have a criminal record thanks to Cedric. He is amazing and has helped me so much over my rough time in life. He answers me right away and works hard to help me and my son to be reunited. I would definetly recommend him to anyone and from charges like assault with a weapon to fraud , etc he has gotten me off of and discharged. Hes great, very easy to talk to and fights for your rights. Couldn't ask for a better outcome.

Hard to believe this man can make a living at law. As a friendly witness, I could have helped his case considerably, all he had to do was ask the right questions. He knew which questions to ask, but didn't do it. Instead, he chose to focus on an irrelevant point. Don't know what he thought he was doing, but I'm certain it did not help his main case at all. So why was I there?

I was attacked by a female druggie and the police charged me with my first offence in my life. Cedric was the Duty councel, and he seemed so uninterested that in less than 30 seconds he abruptly said "Ok, DUMPTRUCK!" and left the couthoude prisoners' council aria, I was F***ed by him in 30 seconds. Luckely, I am a friend of the other Duty council and she spoke for me. But stay away from Cedric, he's not even an entertainer.

He is now purporting to be a criminal trial lawyer... representing wife beaters and the like. It seems as though is trying to establish a reputation for himself as a criminal trial lawyer but being around the courthouse for the last few weeks involved in a matter which he was also involved in, the thing that stood out most in my mind about him was that he was trying very hard to look like Justin Bieber. I have heard countless Ottawa Courthouse staff mocking him - he has no respect among his peers as a criminal lawyer from what I can see... they were all laughing at his adolescent haircut so much that nobody takes him seriously.

I not only couldnt get a reasonable clean cut answer from him but I handed him binders so he had all the info and facts needed to represent me. On top of this I had to guide him through the process of requesting simple items such as a change in a prohibition order to gain access to my own house to get my household goods. End result I had to ask the court for permission to represent myself at the 12th hour and ended up proving my case in a day that he dragged out for over a year. Now I understand why persons dont trust lawyers allthough I know a ton of them on a personal basis. Still cost me 3 grand for 3 hours of his time and what appears as limited access to the crown for discussions

Let's put it this way he only wants to take the easy way and wants to get wins under his belt. eg my boyfriend has hired him and Cedric told him to leave me because if he didn't than he wouldn't have a chance to get our child back. In court he talked to my lawyer and said' She has no chance of getting her child back.' My lawyer said' yeah she does'. So if you want a lawyer that will actually fight for you do not pick this one cause he is only looking for the easy case to win.
