State bar has revoked Mr. Engle's law license for fraud. He can only reapply for reinstatement if he pays restitution of $390,000 of client funds that he did not handle properly in trust accounts and did not disburse to his clients.

I am related to someone that was represented by Thomas Engle. I was knowledgable of everything that was done in the case. I have a lot of leal experience in law, as I am a legal secretary/para legal. The case was going along good until the court date came up. There were several court days continued and several weeks before the latest court date, all communication stopped between client and attorney. I found this to be very odd, as well as being downright wrong, so I called the secretary and asked a few questions. I was told that there was still a case - a big one, but Mr. Engle was no longer representing the client. We were given no reason,as to why, and told to pick up the files. To this date, we still have no communication with the attorney and if we needed to, it would be through his secretary. None of it makes any sense and our next step is to contact the Texas Bar Association. There is a new court date in January, and the client has NO representation.
