I will never use her service again and I will never recommend her. I had the same negative experience with her as the other people who also were honest and filed their negative reviews here. Bad work, horrible communication if any at all, and some of the things she'd said in my presence were really "out there". I will go to someone else in the future for NY tax/legal needs.

We needed Suzanne Ascher for tax advice for IRS income tax and she helped us so much and she was there every step of the way. We are recommending her to all our family and friends. I like she’s very organized and knows what she’s doing. She really does understand tax code and explained to us very clearly and helped us get our tax refund on time. Suzanne Ascher is the ONLY tax accountant, CPA, lawyer we ever use. She’s the best at resolving IRS taxes. If you are having tax problems we recommend her.

The rating system does not go high enough, because Ms. Ascher is a ten in every category. She solved my Tax debt and has given me my life back. Imagine having a $400,000.00 tax problem reduced to 5% of the actual debt. I am tax free now and have gotten back my life. Ms. Ascher was a bulldog, and her tenacity and experience allowed me to be able to live again. Give her a call and see what she can do for you, you won't be sorry.

I am speaking from experience that I have been Suzanne Ascher’s client for both tax law and CPA and she has GREAT attention to details, time deadlines. She saved my butt quite a few times. I originally met her because of an excellent recommendation from another non-tax lawyer who knows Suzanne to be a well respected expert in her field and cares about her clients. That recommendation turned out to be a good one. Suzanne has helped me and my family for several years now for any of our NYS tax issues and our IRS taxes. She has also protected us and I will continue to have Suzanne be the one to handle all of my and my family’s tax needs in both law and accounting. I’d never consider using anyone else’s services other than Suzanne. Ms. Ascher is DA BESTEST and I trust her with my life! That’s da truth!!! We came to her in 2013 in shambles looking to replace our last tax preparer professional and Ms Ascher saved us with the IRS in ample time. We've been with her every since and we ain’t ever leaving. Very organized, very detailed , very to the point. Always prepared and never misses a beat — she’s always on top of her game and extremely focused and dedicated. She’s very thorough, very fair, always returns our calls on time and answers all tax questions. And her fees are very fair and reasonable esp. considering all the great work she does. I do not recommend Ms. Ascher at all. So hard to get her on the phone and when I did, it was like pulling teeth to get her to update me on my case. i felt like she kept stalling me, like she had no idea what was going on. And she was so unfocused when meeting her in person, it was almost as if she either didn't care, she had too many personal problems to be able to focus on work, or she just has ADD nor something. I didn't feel that she was acting professionally when she kept going off onto strange tangents when asking her questions. I actually was relieved when my work with her was done. She seems like a very nice lady, but sadly, because she was so unfocused, I can't recommend her as a lawyer.

We hired Ms. Ascher to prepare our taxes but we will NEVER use her again nor will we recommend her. For someone with such extensive tax knowledge, she inexcusably made ridiculous mistakes with the simplest of our info. Our current accountant is flabbergasted by her mistakes when he reviewed the returns she prepared. She lost our paperwork, didn't file our returns on time, and never replied to any of our correspondence. She's very scatterbrained and spent most of our appointments endlessly babbling on and on with personal thoughts which had nothing to do with taxes or us and frequently had to pause and tell herself outloud to focus. That is a scary thing to hear your accountant/tax attorney say to herself! There was more bizarre behavior after that so we decided we'd had enough. Very unprofessional.

Ms Ascher kept our tax case with the IRS going for several years, incurring more debt than the original amount. Pleasant but too busy to give your case any time. Caused garnishment due to not responding to IRS on my behalf. Didnt return IRS rep calss to her office. Ended up settling with IRS on our own at a VERY large amount much more than the original lien.

SUZANNE ASCHER IS GREAT! Ms. Suzanne Ascher worked with me for two years to resolve my tax problems exceeding $1,000,000.00 with the IRS. I felt comfortable with her level of tax experience (lawyer, CPA, two law degrees, etc.) and the fact that she was a native of Staten Island also put me at ease. Facing the IRS' seizure of all of my business and personal assets, Ms. Ascher forcefully stood by my side. She fought the IRS for two years, ultimately accomplishing tax a credit of over $350,000.00 in penalties and interest and saved my business from seizure and foreclosure. She is a true professional, highly experienced, and a no-nonsense tax attorney who is knowledgeable of all IRS tax law.
