Sam was very difficult to get in contact with, and would only return my calls after multiple messages. I believe I was overcharged for my case, and did not receive a bill until a month and a half after the case was dropped, at which point I was surprised that I'd been charged double my retainer for a case that lasted only a few weeks. I called and emailed with detailed questions about the bill. I never heard back, even after repeated contacts with his paralegal. I did not receive a bill for approximately 8 months, and when I did, I tried again repeatedly to get my questions answered to no avail.
I also want to note that besides the poor business and billing practices, his legal representation was not adequate. He did not follow-up on a matter that opposing counsel had already consented to, and he/his staff did not even know how to get court records from a previous case in another county. I found out months later that it was easily requested online.
