There are many lawyers who advertise that they were former prosecutors. Until my family met Atty James Alston, that was not a good thing. Most just take your money and complete the forms you could do yourself for free so that you can end up in jail, prison and/or paying a fine and still have a record. This attorney and his office are very different. He is rated a Super Lawyer in Houston, TX and we discovered why. He knows the law and is upfront and honest with you about what he can do based upon the information you truthfully tell him. He is thorough is collecting the information from his client and knows how to work with the DA to get your case dismissed or come to a fair resolution. He even vowed to prepare expungement papers at cost (no atty fee) in 2 years! His staff is professional about their work also. We were mistakenly double charged. They did not give us any grief about it. They followed up and credited my account. I can't cover it all here but he is worth every penny+.
