Rob Turner is pure evil. I feel compelled to share my horrendous experience with this attorney. From start to finish, my interactions with him were nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. If you value your time, money, and legal matters, I strongly advise you to steer clear of Robert Turner. When it came to courtroom representation, Robert Turner was an absolute disaster. He seemed flustered and unable to articulate a strong legal argument on my behalf. His lack of confidence and shaky demeanor left me feeling uncertain about my chances of success. Adding insult to injury, I was shocked to receive a hefty bill from Mr. Turner, which was far higher than the initial estimate he provided. It was evident that he was trying to exploit the situation to extract as much money as possible from me.

Had an easy no contest divorce that was not granted due to the paperwork not being correctly filled out. The firm told me they would take care of it, then charged me more than they did the first time. I inquired about the bill and was told I had to come see them in person, then they charged me for not even attempting to want to listen to why I felt I was being doubled charged. I wish I had seen the complaints before I went to see him the first time. I could have saved a lot of money

This is my biggest regret is hiring this law firm for my divorce. I paid them in full upfront and it is still taking over a year for my divorce to be over. Now they are asking for more money at the same time of withdrawing from my case (unexpectedly) NEVER EVER HIRE THIS LAW FIRM... unless you like your money and time wasted!

DO NOT TRUST THIS FIRM. ROBERT TURNER LOST HIS LICENSE TO BE A LAWYER FOR MALPRACTICE. NOW HE IS BACK!!! They will ask for the money upfront. Make you feel comfortable then all the trouble starts. I hired these guys to represent me in a business dispute. They did not show up at court. Made me miss my date and start the entire process over. Lost thousands of dollars and no one at their firm was even interested.

I am so happy to say that this is not the experience I had with Mr. Turner. He was on time, diligent, well-versed and prepared. Let me address some of the complaints listed here. First, calling and expecting to talk to your lawyer every single time is unreasonable. Granted, he is incredibly busy. Secondly, they do let you know if a court date has been changed. However, the courts and lawyers are not on the same schedule. The courts are not set by your attorney, they are set by the clerk. Thirdly, if you signed a contract with him, then you know what he charges. He is expensive because quite frankly, he is the best. If only some of you knew what kind of case I had and it's outcome. I was successful and it is all because of Rob Turner. Just some friendly advice, your lawyer is not an investigator. You provide the evidence. Your lawyer is not to blame when you make a mistake that in turn gets you a negative outcome. You are. And lastly, follow his advice. That's why you pay him.

I hired this attorney for a Federal issue because he convinced me that he had experience. He charged me a flat fee to handle the "whole case" whether it went to trial or not. Since it did not go to trial, he made out extremelly well financially. When an issue arose later regarding the case, he wanted more money. Also, there were several issues that should have been addressed/negotiated on the front end that could have eliminated many problems for me later. He obviously did not know about these, and neither did I as I am not an attorney, but I paid a high price for these ommissions. (still paying) I was informed later, by attorneys that I had to consult, that I got screwed.

Terrible, terrible attorney. Just a bad representation of the entire profession. He does not follow up with things. Does not know what is happening with his cases, as he did my case. He talked a very good talk but that was about it! In addition to having a very difficult time communicating with him because of his front desk receptionist "Trevor" who seeems to be his "body guard" and "flunky", he took my money and then tried to charge me extra fees for work not done. He never returned my original copies of many important documents. I agree, consider yourself warned! I only wish me and my loved ones would have known about this site beforehand.

I agrre with every bad review I have read about Robert Turner! I can not believe that he can get away with operating the way he does. He took my money up front, promised me he was the best divorce attorney in Nashville, then proceeded to do almost nothing but rack up more fees. Trying to get to him through his fron desk man is next to impossible. He did not return calls,often did not follow through with what he promised, stood me up in court, blindsided me in court, and worst of all: he has NO clue what was going on with my case! To top this off, the people in his office offer no apology for any of this. In fact, the receptionist almost seems to be laughing at my complaints! I WOULD NOT rercommend Rob Turner to my worst enemy! I wish I had seen this site before I gave him almost $4000. By the way, I am still not divorced!

Yes me too. I wish I had found this site before hiring Robert Turner. Not only did he take my $2200 and not perform what he promised. When realized I was being ripped off I fired him. Then he billed me for extra charges that he said came from endding our agreement. Yes I had to pay those too. Because he was charging me late fees on top of the complete loss. Sick man. Stay far away from his company. I also found out he was dis-bar-ed for having so many complaints filed against him to ethics committee. Yes I will be filing more.

Watch out this is a lawyer who gives lawyers a bad name. Believe me he seemed real nice when I met him but like the others rate him here ... poor. Do not hire Robert Turner of Nashville, Tn. I wish I had found this site a month ago.

Like others said. Does not return calls. Gets money up front, makes promises and keeps money with out much true effort. Just a lip service which he does through his front desk employee. Do not use this guy. You have been warned.

Hired lawyer. Wanted to be paid up front. Paid him then he would not return calls. When I did get a hold of him he just said "don't worry I will take care of it". Never heard from him again. Not the guy you want to represent you.

This attorney does not keep in touch with his client, he does not answer phone calls nor does he return them. If a court date has been changed he doesn't even let his client know. Very poor communication.
