We hired Mr Sherrod after receiving notice (unexpected) of a default judgement in our foreclosure lawsuit. His incompetence and lackadaisical attitude resulted in both the loss of our home, and further harm. You may see details in my blog: http://thebankstoleourhome.com/jump-l...

I highly recommend John Sherrod. I actually terminated a previous attorney and hired John. I couldn't be more satisfied with his work ethic, his professionalism, and his overall knowledge. I have recommended him several times. I was extremely surprised when I found this site and saw any negative reviews-he came highly recommended, is frequently in the media and all the positive I heard I personally experienced. He handled my foreclosure case and saved my home. He wasn't afraid of the bank nor was he intimidated to fight for our rights. It's unfortunate a couple of posters have "sour grapes". Our family wouldn't have our home without John.

His lack of ethical conduct in recent case with a client caused client to be evicted from his house over the weekend; which meant destruction to furniture etc.Sherrod abscounded with unearned funds.

This attorney represented me on a violation of FMLA employment requirements with my employer. He failed to send me a copies of correspondence which he sent to my employer. He ended up responding to me about a non-issue and didn't even address the original issue. His emails to me had marks in them which prevented me from reading the full content of his drafts - and he asked me to just get the general idea - that I did not need to see the entire document. His work was sloppy and he was inattentive to detail. When I asked for the original document sent from my employer, he sent it to me and it had been wadded up as if it had been tossed in the trash. Totally unprofessional. He did not represent me; he was representing himself. He humiliated me with my past employer and made me look ridiculous.
