Mark E. Alter is a professional, caring, and very calm collective lawyer. He is also a wonderful human being with very good listening skills. Understood my situation, concerns and needs for the best possible outcome. Mark I am so grateful for all you have done during my hardest time I ever known. We are lucky to have Mark Alter as our lawyer for 5 years. We knew him when we first bought a new commercial unit. He impressed us with his knowledge, professionalism and patience to explain every detail from page to page until we fully understood in order to make the right decision. He and his staff were enthusiastic, responsible, and helpful whenever we needed legal advice. We always feel peace of mind and pleasant with the services we received. If we had an option to rate him more than 5 stars we would have done it. We bless Mark Alter for his health to help us last.

Mark E. Alter has been a wonderful blessing to our family. He has helped to represent our family and friends in different aspects of law for many years. His rates have always been very fair, and he has always gone above and beyond to help, and never hesitates to refer on if something is beyond is scope of practice. Mark has showed us fairness and compassion with over the years. In addition, his assistant and receptionist show these same wonderful qualities, and are very helpful, professional and respectful. I would recommend Mr. Alter 10x over.

Mark Alter has been our family lawyer for about 35 years.Mark is a knowledgeable and Professional lawyer,
helping us with legal issues over the years.We had to deal with legal issues at home and abroad. Needed advice for
Business and for Personal issues.And felt very comfortable with Mark in dealing with these issues.
We kept coming back to him when we needed legal advice.

Mark Alter quoted a modest price but later over-charged for service. Self-righteously Alter refused admitting he did things which he was never instructed to do. In short, this guy did NOT LISTEN and invented ways to TAKE MONEY he was not entitled to receive. Regretably, Alter's character is MANIPULATIVE and NARCISTIC to the point where he insists himself to know better than others, without first informing himself. Interestingly, Mark Alter totally ignores his client while perferring to merely GRAB whatever money he can without consideration to the limited financial means. Alter uses Ontario Legal Aid referral lists to lure people with false statements of inexpensive legal fees and then TAKES ADVANTAGE by demanding more than first quoted. Oddly, Alter ignores making factual errors by insisting he knows the truth of everything by touching his nose and claiming it has special abilities. Alter SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED. BEWARE PEOPLE OF THIS TYPE OF LAWYER.
