I was referred to Mr. Kelly in 2009 from another attorney in Lees Summit who didn't oversee child custody cases. I contacted his office and set up an appointment to meet with him. His staff was very professional and courtesy. Mr. Kelly was very professional, courtesy, and down to earth and didn’t sugar coat anything. He is only attorney that I have used that hasn’t lied to me or given my false hope. He listened to my concerns regarding my case and we set a game plan on how he would handle my case. I received frequent and regular communication from Mr. Kelly and his staff. The outcome of my case was exactly what I wanted and couldn’t have asked for better representation for myself and daughter. I refer Mr. Kelly anytime someone asks me for a good trustworthy attorney. I have & will continue to use Mr. Kelly for all my legal needs. Best attorney in the state of Missouri, hands down.

I was arrested in 2012 and David was my appointed attorney for a very large case. I sat with him the first day and he was very welcoming and explained the papers before me. I was facing 10-life for my case. Over the next few years I followed his lead with how to get thru this case knowing it was the scariest thing I have dealt with. He explained all of my questions, explained the process, was very honest with me. The case drug on for almost 2 years before we heard anything and we faced what was given as a blessing. This blessing is part to David and his knowledge, the other part to God. I am grateful that he was the attorney appointed to me thru this case. I recommend him for anything from traffic tickets to Fedeal cases.

I have hired David Kelly several times in the past few years for various legal matters (divorce, traffic ticket, settlement). On each occasion, both he and his staff were exceptional. I was always well informed and felt at ease knowing that I was in good hands. I would not hesitate to contact him in the future should I ever need an attorney or just some sound legal advice.

I retained David Kelly in 2007. I continue to use him for any legal matter that pops up. He helped me get an order of protection, processed my divorce, got me through a home foreclosure, and got me a substantial settlement when I was injured in an accident. He has always been quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had and continue to have. I have always felt comfortable around him and all of his office staff. I have retained him to oversee a trust fund for my children should anything happen to my husband and I. Every time I have required legal assistance I go to his office. I would not trust anyone else with legal matters. Actually it gives me great peace of mind to have him on my side! His staff and his firm are triple AAA+!!

There have been many moments in the past where I did not have the strength to carry on. David provides that peace of mind through his expertise. He's the only lawyer I can think of who will give you a call on his day off or from his personal cell in an emergency. I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Kelly on a personal injury suit. He was prompt, thorough, and lead me step by step through the process. The staff was always around to answer questions when I needed them through email or over the phone and I was happy to get my negotiations done outside of court. I received my settlement quickly and was extremely happy with the outcome. Many praises to Mr. Kelly and his team.

I retained David Kelly to modify a custody order to set child support. At that time there was no support ordered. He took 18 months to file. In that time the state set my support 3 time what it should have been. Because his office never filed my case. this alone cost me over 5000. When this happened I contacted the state on my own and was told to file a motion to set aside. David Kelly was then told to file the motion but instead filed for a change of custody. Then sent me a letter stating why he didn't file what I told him to "it was a waste of time and money". That it was my fault. Then when confronted with his mistake he withdrew. And kept my money. When I retained a real attorney the 18 months put me past the time to reverse what he had done. This left me with a custody battle costing more than 10,000 This man and his staff are completely incompetent! Trust me stay away from this firm or at least David Kelly! This is the truth! I have the documents to back every word!

Horrible experience. I hired him for my divorce attorney. He only personally spoke to me twice and it drug on for almost 2 years. I hired someone else and I was divorced in 30 days. Ridiculous. Wouldn't recommend David Kelly to anyone.

What a waste of money. DO NOT use this firm. I was notified on a Friday to be in court Monday at 9 am and I was working out of state and could not get back by the date. I was screwed in my divorce let alone the money I gave this Atty. ONE WORD.. BEWARE
