I was facing two felony handgun charges as an 18 year old, caught dead-to-rights both times (I was an idiot), and was facing 10 years on the gun charges alone, along with a possession with intent charge. Mr. Leffler worked his magic (this was 20 years ago, so the technicals are a little fuzzy), and I ended up serving 1.5 months, with 2 years and 10.5 months suspended. The charges were eventually dropped off my record, never to be seen again. Not sure if he still is practicing, but if he is, I’d recommend him in a heartbeat. He was well-connected (put it this way: he taught the arresting officer in police academy and was golfing buddies with the judge) and well-informed, and was well worth the money! I served on a jury where Mr. Leffler was plaintiff's counsel. My own background includes time working on insurance defense work, so I am unlikely to cut the plaintiff any breaks. I was impressed with Mr. Leffler. He was skilled and clearly made his case. The courtroom filled for his summation. If I were in trouble, I would hire him in a minute. He is one of the best I have ever seen and I have seen a number of lawyers work in my time.

You would be making a very bad decision if you did NOT pick this guy. He's one of the most experienced lawyers I've seen and has gotten me completely off multiple felony charges. Although he may be expensive, I'll pay 7,500 any day to get my felony charges dropped. He is very, very knowledgable and well respected all around Northern Virginia. He knows many people in and out of the courts and is definitetly worth hiring, you will NOT regret it. Good luck.
