Ali Alavi was recommended to to us by our realtor becuase he had a decent track record of dealings with Wells Fargo Home Mortgages Services and because he charged less than what similar attorneys charge. Mr. Alavi failed to keep WFHM honest during the dealings, he let them slide on the closing date then agreed to make us pay for the seller's per diem because of their mistakes, then essentially abandoned us when we asked him to help keep WFHM honest and pay first month's principal and interest in acordance with their own policies. During the process the only time he ever contacted us was to demand documents which had to be provided within a few hours or risk forfeiting our deposit. Overall, poor communicator, and really not going to help the buyer since he probably would lose business with Wells Fargo if he pushed them too hard to do their jobs.
