DONT WASTE MONEY-RESEARCH!!!! We went in to meet with one attorney with an appointment, were given another attorney who by the way took no notes, and also had a meeting so our consult lasted about 5 minutes. We filled out a sheet of paper with some details that should have given them the basics to file the domestic case which was urgent at that time. Our retainer had almost expired (2,000 - 2 weeks) we never even signed a retainer agreement or knew the rates. They forgot to send it, so they billed the remainder of the money changing a name.
We expected to pay more overall for the case, but not before the case even got filed. They were fired and we were unable to retain an attorney fast enough to stop the other parent from hurting our rights. If you want protection and someone who actually a) cares about the case and then b) can do the job correctly, this is not the office for you. They may do well in some circumstances, but not in a urgent or even timely manner.

Horrible. Stay away. Almost 3000 dollars later, my divorce was still in the same place we started. Tired of being robbed, I went to another attorney who gave me options as far as what I could do to accomplish things that while working with this firm I had no idea existed . So yeah, they take your money and that's all

HORRIBLE, PREDATORY, SCAMMING Law firm, Consumer BEWARE!!! Jim Crawford, Zach Groves and David Lomke all assured me they would represent me to the best of their abilities and be good stewards of my money and they were not. Hired in October 2017 it took until Feb 2018 to file one Motion which I learned afterwards, was never needed, yet they charged me $3,500. They are the WORST attorney's I've ever worked with, they will tell you they know what they are doing, drag out your case to be sure to take all of your money and then after accomplishing nothing for you, tell you they want more money. I hope those reading this heed the warning and learn from my mistake of hiring these predatory, scamming attorneys!

I would Highly recommend this Law Firm to anyone! Throughout a difficult time with custody of my son they have been empathetic, professional and kept the best interest of my greatest joy...my son at the forefront! Professional, Understanding, Perseverance, Dedication, and the list can go on. Mr. Groves stood by my side throughout the duration of my custody battle (picking up my case after 3 months into what turned out to be 2 years) as if he were fighting for the wellbeing of his own children. The uneasy feeling of the unknown when dealing with custody issues, was not the case with Mr. Groves. I’m a very spiritual GOD fearing man, and I truly believe that Mr. Groves was Heaven sent. I could keep going, but I am pretty confident that my point has been made. As “One other great lawyer” stated “always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any one thing”, and you proved that to me. Mr. Groves, thank you!

I spent $2,000,00 on nothing. Good ol' Jimbo had me convinced he was PERSONALLY handling my case when that was not the case. He handed my case over to some pimply faced kid who talked a great game but didn't do a thing. A public pretender would have done a better job and cost 98% less. Do NOT use this law firm. They are slimy scum that define stereotypical sleazy attorneys.

Mr Crawford represented me a few months ago. I had managed to get myself in some pretty serious trouble and he seemed like the best choice for the type of charges that I had. The disposition of the case was really much better than I, or my family, could have reasonably expected. I did everything that he asked me to do and I let him do his job. I am extremely grateful for the service that he provided.

Zack Groves was our attorney for a complicated custody case where we as grandparents were seeking custody of our granddaughter. Zack did an excellent job of handling our case and was highly professional (and a pleasure to work with). Although it is difficult for grandparents to win custody if even one of the biological parents puts up a challenge, we ultimately won full legal and physical custody thanks to Zack's help. We highly recommend Zack as an attorney for any family law case.

If you have a case within Baltimore City DO NOT retain James Crawford as your attorney. He has clearly pissed off many judges and other lawyers. When it came to my case, the judge cut him off as soon as he started to defend me. I was given my sentence without my side of the story being heard as a result of my attorney's reputation. I've since been told by others in the Baltimore legal system that the verdict for my trial was more severe than any other similar case they had heard of. It was also worse than what James Crawford had promised would be the worst case scenario when I retained him as a lawyer. DO NOT trust this man.
