AVOID THIS LAWYER AT ALL COSTS. We had asked for a Notary as we only needed 5 signatures witnessed on real estate documents, but the experience was frustrating. We waited 15 minutes past our appointment time, and it took her 20 minutes to figure out the documents. Then, we waited another 15 minutes for her to make copies. The last notary took 10 minutes total, but this one charged us $312.12 and only accepted cash. When my wife was $2.12 short, she made us go to the bank to get the rest. She also refused to courier the documents to our real lawyer until the 2 dollars and 12 cents was paid.

her office lost our paperwork, then she said it didn't matter. she was not willing to drive 20 minutes to a bank even though she wanted pretty good money for her service.

My father contacted her in May 2018 to complete my mother's probate. She refused to return any calls. He passed in January 2020 and I hired a different lawyer to now complete both probates, my mother and father. Jan refuses to return any calls or emails. It has been over 4 months and multiple calls and emails by my lawyer, and still no response. Do not use this lawyer. This is just cruel.

Slow, beyond belief slow. Not bad communication, NO communication. I have had to get another lawyer to clean up her mess. Use only if you are certifiably insane.

She did a good job getting two of her client killed in Winnepeg by being so mean, brutal, unethical to the husbands and got my ex everything from them. how does she live with a conscience?

Jan was my Lawyer when she was in Winnipeg, mb. She was very knowledgeable and great conduct in court. I would strongly recommend her.

Very poor lawyer. Can't be bothered to return phone calls or even acknowledge emails. She is impossible to get in touch with. I would NEVER recommend this person to anyone for any type of work.
