This attorney is HORRIBLE in every way imaginable! DO NOT waste your money. She represented me in 2016, she ran her office like a collection agency. I gave this woman my WHOLE rent check and cried and she didn’t flinch which was after my parents gave her a retainer. Her assistant called me for another payment THE VERY NEXT DAY! She WAS NOT an advocate for me and my family. When I asked her about the horrible reviews and the disciplinary action against her, she laughed it off. When the hearing didn’t go the way she wanted, she stormed off like a brat and didn’t give a brief of next steps or a game plan on what to do next. I was completely turned off…I have no idea why people keep hiring her and how she is still practicing law. Horrible, horrible, horrible! There are much better attorneys in the greater Indianapolis area.

DO NOT use Heather. Do an internet search.
AVOID at all costs. Speaking of costs, she will over bill & do nothing! Literally she did less than nothing. My ex husbands lawyer felt horrible for me. Run. Don’t walk. She’s a dishonest human being. I’m not the only person who was duped by her. She said she sent documentation, made phone calls & did not. She said she didn’t receive paperwork from my ex husbands lawyer. (Problem. I was in his office when he faxed it & called her office to confirm they received it. It was confirmed by her staff) She charged me to “re-send” request several times. That’s just the tip of the dishonest iceberg. AVOID!!!! I post once or twice a year because my reviews keep getting deleted. Dishonest. Dishonest. Dishonest.

This attorney has emotionally and mentally destroyed my brother. He started his divorce 4 years ago. There were 2 vehicles and a modest home.Now $60K dollars later, they are demanding another $4k dollar to represent him on 5-2. He is a broke man in every sense of the word. He is so upset, he refuses to even drive due to his distraught emotions, he feels he is not safe. They waited until the last minute and with out any descriptive invoice or reason, demands $4K 3 wks before his court date. That was by design! Then they told him if he does not have representation, he will surely lose. They also added that it is impossible for any other attorney to get up to speed at this time. Now he has snapped! He has nothing left to give! He lost every possession left at the premises after the wife made him leave. He is a retired fireman on disability and had many career awards he had earned and was never able to retrieve. There were items from my dad, gone! Run a fast as you can from this firm!!!

These people are so unprofessional, I used them for a bankruptcy 5 years ago and am in the process of trying to buy a house. There were some things they left on my discharge papers that still reflected on my credit report which is hindering my ability to purchase my house. I paid $2500 for their services 5 years ago, and they did it wrong and want to charge another $500, clearly this firm has legal issues of its own (google them) and I should have done my due diligence prior to hiring them. Please do not hire them, it was problem after problem with them and clearly 5 years later I am still running into issues. They are unprofessional, and my curiosity has me wondering if they even have the proper degrees to be practicing law. They really have zero credibility and googling them shows the issues. Stay away, spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

She was so bad I ended up having to use my ex husbands lawyer. She will tell you she is sending documentation and she does not. She will tell you she is making calls and she is not. She says she is following uo and she is not. Even other lawyers admit she is incompetent. Do not waste your time or money!

Mrs. Ofarrell is currently, as of Dec. 2010, under Indiana Supreme Court Disiplinary Commission proceedings. See: http://www.in.gov/judiciary/disciplin... Pending Discipline:
29S000902DI00076. She has no problem knowingly and continuously lying and putting her clients in danger of fraud and perjury by convincing them to lie. She had one client sign an affidavit stating that she had not been convicted of a felony when she had and it had even been discussed in a previous hearing. She will definitely take your money and tell you exactly what you want to hear knowing that the case is frivolous. She encourages her clients to make false abuse and other allegations and the respondent will have to pay the fees. Don't believe it! In fact when it is done and said you may wind up paying for their legal fees if you let her convince you to deceive the court. Ask for a client list of cases she has supposedly won and give them a call before you dare to hire her. A FULL CLIENT LIST

First meeting she is very positive about your case, you later find she is hounding you for money on a weekly basis and insists on payment before services are rendered "need to have money in the account to bill against". You go into office with payment "in advance" only to be told you owe additional money and when can you pay yet another $1000.00. When you complain she makes a one time payment offer that if you pay some extrordinary amount up front she will not bill you again for her services. Important court documentation is withheld until payment is made and even though you were in the office they do not relay the information - 10 days later you receive the court forwarded copy in the mail.Although she has insisted you pay her in advance, her staff call constantly to your work phone hounding you for more money. You make an arrangement of when money will be paid and yet the calls do not stop- the staff harrass you daily until money is paid. Threatens to withdrawal if not paid.
