i used her wan she was with raffaell puppio I paid over $12,000 for her services on a divorce where there was no custody issues and no property issues. The only issues was the value of two homes. She told me that every thing was done and I would be divorced by the end of april. shsortly thereafter she notified me that my wifes attorney was protesting the divorce for survivor benefits. Her attorney claimed the divorce was not final since Kathy had failed to file certain papers. The Judge agreed. Kathy charged be another $5,000 which I refused to pay and i represented my myself and was able to resolve the issue with my wife's attorney. I continued to receive bills for over a year and finally they stopped sending bills

I am utterly shocked at these reviews. Kathy is extremely smart, caring attorney. She cares for her clients. I am one, so I know. She is patient, understanding and extremely intelligent... My situation is complicated to say the least. And there is no other attorney I would trust to handle my case. I have 100% trust in her abilities.

I was encouraged to hire her to represent me with custody because she was supposedly tough when dealing with domestic violence and advocating for women in the court room who have not been able to have a voice in an abusive relationship. She is very expensive and bills for absolutely everything from writing orders to answering a single question you may have via phone to email even when the answer you receive is one word. My last encounter was she was to get me holiday time and lunches with my boys twice a month and when I didn’t agree with her giving my ex and his lawyer everything they asked for she told me to handle it myself and grabbed her folder and walked out of the court room on me. I felt humiliated, helpless and deceived by her. I would never recommend her to anyone. She is not an advocate for domestic violence victims.

never felt that i was getting advice that was good for, great at putting cover sheets from the courts and then charging me to send me, what I all ready had, my ex got way more than her fair share. I even was doubled billed and billed for items that where not my request. when challeneged i received no reponse.

She handled everything in a professional manner. We were able to handle pre-work via phone & e-mail so that preparing a will was a one-time visit that didn't take hours. I would recommend her to my friends.

When I met Kathleen, I immediately liked her...she is very personable. However, once I hired her, I began to experience issues. She advised me to file a special relief petition, but as the hearing for the petition approached, she seemed to have a change of heart, and she told me that she wasn't even sure if I had enough evidence to merit this petition. Kathleen seemed extremely intimated by my husbands lawyer, and when I wouold ask her to communicate with him, she told me, "I will, but he will just yell and scream at me." I hired her to be my advocate, but it seemed like she just wanted me to settle with my ex so that she could avoid a confrontation. I am fortunate that I discovered these issues early in the divorce process, and that I was able to find a new attorney that actually listens to me, that I can trust, and has my best interests in mind. My experience with my current attorney solidified my opinion that Kathleen is extremely incompetent..

She did not tell us the truth about the law. She said grandparents do not have rights to visitation in PA. Wrong. She said that terminating mother's parental rights would terminate grandmother's rights to visitation. Wrong. She said mother being in jail is a reason to terminate parental rights. Wrong.
