Price tag was a bit shocking but with top dollar comes top skill. Got the best possible outcome, I believe. If you can afford it, I 100% recommend David Anber. Always available, and top notch strategy. Was facing a 3 year suspension and 30 days incarceration. David got it down to 1 year suspension with option for reinstatement after 6 months and $4k fine without going to trial which would have cost a lot more. Very happy with the outcome.

Hm. What can I say about Matt Wolfson.. First and foremost I can say he is a dedicated superb lawyer fantastic at his job. He cares about every single client he deals with and shows the upmost compassion. Mr. Wolfson fought TOOTH and NAIL on my case if I could go handing out flyers on how good of a lawyer Mr. Wolfson is I would all day long for all of eternity because you need Mr.Wolfson to handle your case. Crown offered jail, Mr Wolfson would never let that happen to a fellow client of his no way. Mr. Wolfson got my charges dropped on my case, he examined the evidence hundreds of pages of evidence to be exact. Night and day working on a resolution on my case. Mr. Wolfson never put me in the dark not once I always knew what was going on.. Any update he would call me right away and let me know what’s going on.. Mr Wolfson CARES rarther then a lot of lawyers that just in my opinion look at them as a number and a dollar sign.

Having never been charged with anything before, and only received a single speeding ticket in my whole life, I was extremely anxious dealing with the charge I had to defend against (careless driving). David approached the case very professionally, explained the likely outcomes and was supportive in every way. He was able to negotiate the charge to a minor infraction that was completely satisfactory to me. I also appreciate his quick responsiveness - he typically e-mails back in 10-15 minutes. Retaining him was the right decision that I was always glad I made.

Mr. Anber is a fantastic lawyer bottom line. I had an over 80 charge and I was worried about losing my career and driving privileges'. I shopped around for a lawyer however I saw a reoccurring theme. The lawyers would start off by bragging about their success rate and high profile clients. David did none of that. He simply told me that he will do his best and that I am in good hands. Never once did he push me for payment or ask for money as if it was the top priority. He made me the priority. In the end charges were dropped and I kept my license and career. I never write reviews however I felt that with my bad experience with other lawyers and my amazing one with David I had to let people know how competent and caring David is. This was my first offence so I was very hesitant and ill-informed on the process. Upon hiring David and getting to know him, I felt 100% comfortable leaving my case in his hands and was always left up-to-date with my current status. I was granted more than what I could have asked for given the circumstances of my DUI. My questions were always answered if not my David, by his excellent team. You get what you pay for and every cent was worth it, in my opinion.

Excellent service on overall. I hired David as my lawyer coming from a previous lawyer who had been insisting that I should plead guilty for my DUI charges. David could work and get a very timely arrangement with the Crown to get the criminal charges reduced to provincial ticket ( careless driving and no criminal record). David might charge higher fees, particular for the pre-trial phase ( compared to a lawyer with a comparable rating for services related to the same charges), but he probably deserve the high fees he charges. That's why I rated him 5 stars, except for the value where I rated him 4. This said, I would definitely recommend him without any hesitation.

Got some advice from one of his junior staff, it was good advice for my first traffic case (suspended license for unpaid fine I completely forgot about and then moved provinces... ). I then got accused of something else, waiting for a trial for that one. The first case, provided some good advice. Hoping the next case will turn out the same. It's not normal for me to have run-ins with the law, and so when I got a ticket for driving on the shoulder at a slow pace to avoid something, I felt I did not do anything wrong. I wanted to challenge it as it came with some demerit points, and my insurance premiums would likely skyrocket. I did not know how to succeed at challenging the ticket, nor did I have the time so a friend referred me to David Anber.
Mr. Anber was very professional, responsive, explained every step, and recommended strategy options for my approval. He owned my case completely, and handled all court visits. I was able to just go about my business. I was saved the pain of having to navigate this new territory and could leave my burden with Mr. Anber. He won my case and my traffic offence was no longer on my record, and therefore no demerit points. My insurance rates kept intact.
I highly recommend David Anber, and just recently I consulted with him on a separate issue, so I am a happy return customer!

I was accused of sexual assault by my ex, it was one of the darkest times in my life. Never requiring the services of a lawyer in my life I have to say it was a nerve racking experience. I found David to be very direct and up front with his thoughts, I found this to be good. The important thing is when it felt like the entire world was against me I knew David was in my corner supporting me. I got a speeding ticket and opted to fight it by myself. When I went to court for the trial I was unable to get it thrown out based on a constitutional infringement and the case was adjourned. It was in the court I met Mr Anber for the first time since I stayed to see how proceedings went. I'm not sure what about him intrigued me but out of all the other lawyers/paralegals in the courtroom, he stood out! I got his contact information and corresponded to him via email. After getting a cost to fight my case which I thought was very expensive, I reluctantly hired him thinking this would have been money thrown away. I got what I paid for, Mr Anber was able to get the charges dropped!!! He did excellent work and is extremely good at communicating! Through all of the processes he made sure to confirm what I wanted to do and did not assume anything! I would definitely use his services again, thought I hope not to!

Mr. Anber is a very professional and upbeat attorney. Explains things very clearly and answers all questions with a straight answer. I was supposed to go to jail for breaches and a drug related offense. Instead he got me conditional sentencing. He made the best of a very bad situation. David represented me in what would have been a devestating DUI conviction. I was charged with impaired driving and refusal in Quebec. i am very pleased with the outcome of my trial, especially when you’re looking at 18 or most likely plus months in jail for drug charges and all you get is four months house arrest and a year of probation haha what a joke i love it! Also he made sure that i would be able to move back out west for work and be able to leave the country for my court date in the states as well. And did i mention this was all while i was on house arrest ? David also ALWAYS returned my phones call within the day, he was very professional and answered all the questions i had for him and if i didn’t understand anything he would take the time to explain it to me thanks very reasonable guy and never judged me from day one i recommend david anber to anyone
