Harold gets pride breaking up families. Has no regard for what is best for the children. The person with the most money in the relationship wins every time, GUARANTEED. He hires his buddies to hear the cases, it’s a racket.

stay AWAY from him. He is only interested in your money and will plan your case in such a way to maximize his benefit. You are irrelevant. He only sees you as a dollar sign. he does not allow you to speak and does not answer your questions. He tries to portray the image of an experienced and wise lawyer who you should not dare question. Thousands of dollars later you realize, you actually had better options to finish your case but he was not interested to inform you about it as it was not beneficial for him. He is very rude and disrespectful and will keep you in the dark as much as he can. Once he realizes you are beginning to understand how he is using you as a bate, he will drop you. He will only pick you if you have enough financial resources he can drain. once you lost your money and sanity, he will corner you to give everything up as he could not care less to fight for your rights.

the best advice you will ever get is don't associate yourself with human, he is toxic. all he cares about is himself. he does not care about your children, he could care less what they look like or how they turn out. all decisions in you case will be based on his needs. he will charge 4 digits per hour and deliver work that could have been done quicker and cheaper than a 1st year lawyer. he is rude, condescending and sees you a dollar sign not a person. you are paycheck, he will not pickup the phone when you need him, he will offload your case to incompetent associates. he will call as many motions as possible. if a trial is needed he will be nowhere to be found, get yourself another lawyer at the last minute honey. the character of the human is a low as it gets, he will not be transparent with his schedule or his goals. he will string you along and pump up himself and stoke his ego and treat his clients horribly. the worst mistake you can make is to consult this lawyer.

Mr. Niman's knowledge of Family law is extensive and impressive. He is very expensive but understandable, given his experience and deep understanding of this legal system. Even though my case did not have a favourable conclusion, it is not because of him. I recommend this lawyer.

Complete con man. He runs up bills and fights constantly. Interestingly, as he usually represents women, his attempts to rip off his own ex wives. Many times divorced, terrible man who tries to ruin other families to enrich himself. Should be disbarred.

Just horrendous. He was my ex's lawyer, and she lost. He sloughed her off to a junior, popped in to drag things out years longer, and then didn't even show up to court for her, just had yet another lawyer take his place who barely knew a thing about the trial. Cost my ex 4x more than what I spent on a lawyer plus she lost! This guy is a clown.

Harry aggressively pursues his own interests including suing those who speak out about his horrible behavior and unbecoming actions. He's even publicly subpoenaed this site to have posts about him taken down. He serves his own financial gains first, he acts like he is the only one who exists, and that others around him are there to serve whatever he desires. This is publicly documented what an embarrassment he's still out there.

I am so glad I retained Harold Niman against my ex wife. He is expensive but worth every penny!! If your ex wife likes to play the victim card like mine did - there was nothing more pleasurable than watching Harold cross exam her on the stand. I wish I recorded the moment when my ex wife realized the judge thought she was full of sh*t and she was going to get less than what I offered during the settlement. THANK YOU HAROLD.

Harold is an excellent lawyer. He put the interests of my children first and handled my high conflict divorce brilliantly. The fees for his services are well worth it. I am so thankful that I was referred to him.

His communication skills with his client are terrible. I had 5 assistants during the course of two years. They presumably don't like working with him either. He looks disheveled most days. His response to most of my questions was dismissive and unconcerned. He should retire, he's beyond best-before-date!!

I thank God every single day that Harold Niman is my Lawyer! Harold and his team are skilled and dedicated to getting the job done, while a client may be in fear from the X my team has helped to give me the best advice and have put me in contact with supportive people to help me to deal with the process. I have faith in Harold and his team. I'm happy he's not the othersides Lawyer!

Settles right before a trial, unless you pay a massive retainer fee he only tells you about 48 hours before trial is set to start. He is not out for you, just your bank account, and you barely hear from him unless he has an opportunity to parade himself around the court. Does not care about you or whether you win/lose as long as he gets paid. Do Not Recommend.

Sounds like Harold's reputation precedes him quite clearly. Hiring him has ensured (a) not getting any of his time or attention, it's a bait-and-switch (b) certainty that your case will go on for years (c) outrageous billings (d) deplorable customer service (e) negligence on your file (f) poor outcomes, even as his client (g) adulation from his sycophants and resultant arrogant dismissiveness (h) a revolving door of angry staff...the list goes on. I hired Harold to be my bulldog in response to my ex's very aggressive lawyer. Harold pawned me off on his useless lawyer colleagues (6 different lawyers actually) over more than 3 years, and never once did a single thing on my file. So for those who say Harold is good - you must have been the very few who got his time and focus. For the others, he is of no value except to drain your bank account rudely and produce no results himself or with his firm of subpar lawyers.

Harold Niman is quite honestly the best. Expensive, for sure. But you get what you pay for. His knowledge of Family Law gives you an advantage before you even start. And his passion for your personal circumstances is unwavering! You spend most of your time with a "Junior" Lawyer, for sure... But the Juniors are still incredible and, it is clears they get all of their direction from Harold. And when he does show up for Questioning or a Court Appearance, watch out, because he is incredible!!!! You can't possibly go wrong putting yourself in his hands.

Be prepared for a very expensive legal bill. You are better off to make a deal and be generous to the point where it hurts. In the end, the lawyers get it all and you end up losing years of your life fighting over stuff... instead of getting on with your life. It is cheaper and better for your health to make a deal. In the end you settle the case as it is about to go to trial. You end up with the same outcome but the bulk of it goes to the lawyers. Harold Niman attended my wedding only to represent my ex in our divorce. Shame on you!

I completely agree with most of these reviews. I spent $600,000 over a 5 year period. At the end of the day the law is the law and settlement is always the best option. If you can hold the lawyers bills to a minimum for about a year or two until the exwife finally starts to think clearly towards a fair settlement it is always your best option. Niman is like most lawyers out there he just keeps creating paperwork and the bills just keep rolling in. He did nothing constructive for me and had no interest in working towards a settlement. If you want a fantastic no nonsense lawyer then see if Brian Smith is available at Bastedo Stewart Smith. His hourly rate is pricey but he doesn't nickle and dime you and will always try and get you to a quick settlement.

spent over 100k and took 3 years. Niman never gave me a straight answer. I Was overbilled, was spoken rudely to, humiliated...and guess what?? i was the client. Thinking of divorcing....my advice...try and make nice with your soon to be ex spouse and make your own deal. would rather be married to my ex again than have to deal with a man who not only hates all people...he even hates himself.

This is the go to guy. Yes it might cost money, but if you believe that you are right, and being done unjustly. Than why not hire the best and prove in court that you were right all along?
