This attorney is a nightmare for her own clients. I can only urge you to find someone else. The quality of her law work is ordinary which is why she specializes in lower end practices like personal injury and family law. She took her time about things; and, when a settlement was reached she tried to force us to sign, as part of our settlement, a statement that said earned her fee and provided adequate legal. I have never seen another attorney try to force this on a client in the clients own settlement brief. Because we will not sign this, we are still disputing this settlement with her. Ms. Lekan, who is actually representing us, is holding up our settlement until we sign (what we believe) is an illegal contract. She has threatened us with legal action, and she is actually representing us on this insurance claim! The point is there are other and better attorneys to hire. This lady is argumentative with her own clients; generally disagreeable; and completely illogical.
