1st meeting: we will take of her, I have NHL player going through same thing, (who cant be mentioned), and, I will be a supreme court judge soon. Instructed him to NOT send correspondence regarding our confidential meeting to my address, the staff did in error. He took my life savings in trust, and eventually, kept it all, and in fact, sent me a bill for thousands afterwards, after ensuring me that I was going to end with a said amount of moneys. After receiving an invoice, and not a cheque, I represented myself and took him to court, surprisingly, as a untrained lawyer, won a decision ,a small fraction of the moneys stole from me. STAY FAR,FAR AWAY FROM THIS DISHONEST THIEF

I have dealt with Mr. Stone on 2 separate occasions. My experience both times was very good. He is very knowledgeable and clever in the court room. My case was very complicated had it not been for Mr. Stone I would have probably jumped off a building. I still believe you get what you pay for.

We went to Richard Stone for an amicable divorce he was condescending and did everything in his power to make the separation as difficult as possible. The documentation we took to the other lawyer was full of spelling errors and incorrect information her recommendation was following the divorce we write a letter to the Law Society and file a complaint. We never did we were just pleased to have it over and never have to deal with him again.

Good experience with Mr. Stone. He was very knowledgeable about family law in Ontario and well prepared when we went to court. He put my mind at ease in an extremely stressful time in my life. He is a little on the pricey side but I felt it to be worth the results.

I had this lawyer for a divorce. He was never prepared and was constantly asking questions he should have known have he ever bothered to look at the case. He was asking very simple questions about my case at hearings in front of the judge and once during my hearing he asked judge a favour to sign someone else's divorce while I was paying for this hearing. He never gave us a retainer and said that prices are set for the divorce and separation and never mention his hourly rates. After each meeting between the 2 parties to the divorce or court hearing he would ask for more and more money. Eventually I left and only later found out that his 2nd lawyer was no lawyer at all as he failed his bar exam. He looks tough and talks the talk in initial meeting but is not worth the money in court at all.
