Michael Peterson charges a lot of money for no results. If I had not intervened, official documents submitted to the court would have been exceedingly detrimental to my future. I am amazed at Mr. Peterson's absolute disorganization when it comes to practicing law. I am amazed at Mr. Peterson's failure to complete simple tasks. I am amazed at Mr. Peterson's ability to send out requests for thousands of dollars after providing nothing of use. I am furious. I am not allowed enough room in this review to fully express my dislike of Michael Peterson's ability to practice law.

Michael Peterson is absolutely the BEST attorney I've had for my cases. He is one of the rare attorneys who is honest and lives by Biblical values. He is VERY experienced, has an excellent reputation with the judges and will do whatever it takes to win a case - honestly that is, not underhandedly like many other attorneys I've had on the other side of my cases. I can't say enough good things about him. He can be a little disorganized though with the mountains of paperwork each case requires. If you help keep him organized with your own document copies, he does much better with your case. I have never seen a temper from him. He has recently separated his practice from his partner and had to deal with some of those clients wanting him to represent them. This overloaded his schedule which probably made him cranky becasue he wanted to try to help everyone.

Nice man bad lawyer! Told me he could win my case when I went to see him and as soon as I handed him the retainer it all changed. Not notified of court dates, sent mail to wrong person, did not read court orders opposing counsel typed up (giving other party extra time and holidays), sent subpoena to wrong address (party was not found). I could go on and on. When he argued my case in front of the magistrate for temporary orders,he was pathetic. Now that I have come to my senses and ask him to withdraw from my case of course the retainer is all gone. Over $200 an hour and I have nothing to show for it. I don't think he ever thought about the child or his best interest.
