HEALEY LAW = HEADACHE!!!
If you want a lawyer who will put their "business hours" ahead of your real estate purchase; and if you like extra stress, then choose Healey Law. I can't speak to the other lawyers in the firm, but save yourself some stress and avoid JONATHAN HEALEY AND his assistant MARY ELLEN MILLER.
Mr Jonathan Healey seemed nice enough, however he is very checked out and leaves all communication with you up to his assistant. He only does what he absolutely has to do (aka witness you sign legal documents).
However, his paralegal assistant and real estate conveyancer Mary-Ellen Miller has extremely poor communication skills. Dealing with her was very difficult and stressful for both my husband and I.
They wrote the wrong purchase price - a difference of $20,000 more - on our legal documents. Thank goodness we are meticulous and actually check on things. With Healey Law, mistakes are consistently made with no remorse or ability to rectify them.

Very pleased with the great work that Jonathan did on my behalf in a difficult divorce. He fougbt hard for me and we got back my kids as well as child support and support for myself.5 Stars!

I would recommend a Law Student instead of this attorney. He is the kind of lawyer tat gives all lawyers a bad name. He will take your money, make promises, and not deliver. At All. Healey Law is a SCAM!!! take your money to anyone else!! We paid our retainer, told him what we wanted, he told us he would get it done, then when it came to the court date he told us we should go through a mediator instead. and then he told us we owed him more money. never again.

This is how Jonathan deals with divorce. Her lawyer writes something up. His assistant forwards it to me. I have to respond. They then charge me to fix up my response and return it. I basically represented myself. Zero advice was given. His knowledge of divorce is minimal. When dealing with child support we needed to make a change as 1 child moved out of my ex's house. He actually said he didn't know what to do. It was her lawyer that responded with a correct simple statement of how child support works. You spend a lot of money to represent yourself with little if any assistance or legal advice.

Mr. Healey took on my case and successfully fought my corner in court. Definitely rerecommended. Good lawyer.

If you have a normal paper divorce use Jonathan. If not, or you want your ex to screw you over in court, find someone else.

He is definitely NOT tenacious so if you're looking for a lawyer that is a shark and who will be relentless, this isn't your guy. He was quick to return calls and did keep me informed on my case, however, the whole process was completely drawn out and cost me thousands upon thousands of dollars. I only needed a separation agreement drawn up! I wish he would of given me more straightforward advice about my case and what the potential outcomes would of been. Read your affidavits thoroughly, his assistant made a lot of errors and typos. I basically typed my own up and then they charged me $300 for her to "edit" it. I have to go to court and I haven't hired Mr. Healey to represent me again...that speaks for itself.

Poor communication, not good at getting back to clients. Was lied to which cost me more money. I guess the biggest issue was that we signed a separation agreement and upon review noticed they had dropped in someone else's name instead of my own! Still dealing with issues caused by this law firm.Terrible and I would never recommend to anyone. Not even sure how they can get away with this.
