Ingrid spoke with me in the waiting room of the firm for about 5 minutes before informing me that she was not interested in taking me on as a legal aid client. She did provide rational and logical reasons for this, and offered to give me some names and numbers as recommendations. Within 1 day I had received her recommendations. She even called me the next week to ensure I had received the info. I am unable to speak to her actual law skills, but though she was not interested in the file, she was kind enough to take the time to provide me with contact info of others who might be able to help, and followed up within days. This was done without any sort of payment (but rightly so).

Did not follow instructions given.. forced settlement I should have never accepted for multiple thousands in billings I should have never paid... Her law firm is recommended .. not her..

Ingrid has been very helpful and professional… & has gone the extra distance in a caring manner. She has a heart, and sincerely cares about the outcome, by working hard, but yet being compassionate & fare for both parties to settle.

I used to work for this individual quite a while ago and I am so glad I escaped. She doesn't do a single thing until about the 20th of the month other than occasionally go to hearings, and meet with clients, then works like crazy the last 10 days of the month to make sure she can bill everyone she wants to that month. If she doesn't feel like she can get any money out of you that month your case won't be a priority. She also blames her assistants if there is ever any mistakes made, or if she doesn't get to something in time. She never replies to emails, and I often had angry calls from clients because she hadn't replied to them for months. She also says rude things to clients and because they have already given her so much money, they have no where to go. She is the reason I left the firm of Restall & Restall.

Choose Ingrid as your family lawyer IF:
You want to see your lawyer get schooled in law;
You want to have your concerns ignored;
You want to have your emails and questions go unanswered;
You want to have have poor representation in front of a judge;
You want to pay outrageous rates for little work;
You want to learn more about law than your lawyer;
You want to have your ex win all of the battles;
You want to have little to no access to your children;
You want to have your concerns ignored;
You want to pay thousands and thousands of dollars in legal fees and be no further ahead than when you started;
You want to prove lawyers are only in this for themselves;
I've been fighting on and off for 5 years and should have changed lawyers 4.99 years ago.
RUN do not walk AWAY from this "lawyer" as QUICKLY AS YOU CAN - You've been warned!

Ingrid worked very hard for me and did an excellent job. She was thorough, gathered facts, and spoke the truth. She finally got a lot of my divorce matters settled when no other lawyer did. She is very knowledgable and gets straight to the point. I would definitely recommend her. She literally saved my life.

I emailed Ingrid and then met with her for about 1 hr, no charge. While she may have been technically competent, I wasnt sure if she wanted to be my lawyer, my therapist, or my friend. She suggested first out that my ex might end up having to declare bankruptcy due to bad spending habits, then that my University aged daughters were "princesses" and had to grow up b/c the other parent had "abandoned" everyone, and then wanted to come to a public event where I was going to be at. Followed that up with "tell me what happened". Really? I was uncomfortable at the outset w her declaration that the picture she would paint would ensure that my ex would "beg her to settle" and she'd "push for as late a retirement date as possible". Not the type of thing I wanted to do. I was unsure that I'd be able to control her or have any say at all re the process or how long of a leash I'd have on her.

I had one contact with her to try and have her work on my behalf. Turned off right from the start due to her questioning me "what have I done to make the situation work without her even looking at my file". The next thing out of her mouth was how much her rates are and that she would decide if I was someone she wants to work with. Very poor first impression of her and it was enough to make me look elsewhere, especially after her making judgement on me without even looking at my file. It is my opinion that this person is not someone who I would want to have represent me because she kind of painted me in a certain light with out really getting to know me or my case. I think it would have been a major mistake for me to retain her. She also stated that in my case she wasnt optimistic for me having success in this case, again how can she even make a statement like that without looking over the file. Also shouldnt it be making the decision if I want to use her, not the other way around.

All I can say is I wish I would have seen this sight before I highered her. She has done nothing, and everything she has done i've had to remind her to do her job. She does not return phone calls, or respond to e-mails. She is a waste of money & time.

Worst Lawyer she is sloppy and makes obvious mistakes ,forgets things and seems that she cannot read due to her vision problems,the opposing lawyer guides her and she follows ,,in my experience,,I would never use this lady ,,Ingrid you should be disbarred.
