Thus far, Mr. Punnett has been excellent. Yes, he's expensive, but in his business, you get what you pay for. He's certainly been worth the money to date. His staff is always friendly and likeable. My case is a complicated one that requires a senior lawyer with lots of experience and Gerald certainly fills that bill. Overall, it's been a great experience to now.

Horrendous experience that I am just digging myself out of now. He lies, purposely runs your bill up, and does not communicate or follow through in any way. I only rated his knowledge higher than the rest of the categories because he certainly knows how to play the system. RUN away from this lawyer...fast.

Terrible lawyer never went after anything I asked for In family court! My case lasted over a year for a child support issue" Court date was changed never was notified, sat in his office for 6 hours waiting for his assistant to get off a phone call I had taken the day off work to,prepare for Court another day wasted had to listen to his assistant cry about how her boyfriend dumped her paid her $90 an hour to be her relationship counselor!

We have to wait for our property papers for months. After receipt our final papers contained several errors. A capital error is that this lawyer managed to switch our date of birth and refuse to fix it. This old, disorganized, underperformed lawyer should retire and get off the market.

I was a client of Mr. Punnetts and i asked how to do up an affidavit with the stipulation that my child was not allowed to leave Wellington County or Waterloo Region. When the time came and my child was taken good Northern Ontario I asked mr. Punnett if I could have a copy of the affidavit so I could phone the police I found out at that point that mr. Punnett did not put the affidavit into the court I then went years without seeing my child because of mr. Punnetts lack of ethics. If you have a family law case I recommend that you find a different attorney mr. Punnett screws everybody over especially if you're on legal aid he over bills and he doesn't care what the outcome is as long as he gets paid the only nice thing I can say about this attorney is his law Clerk Debbie is very kind helpful and considerate she goes above and beyond what she should be doing to help the clients that mr. Punnett has.

Guelph & Wellington County Family & Children's Services will never be the same again after Mr.Punnet kicked their ego's right out the door.I can not thank Mr.Punnet & his assistant Deb enough for the dozens of hours that were put into proving that the F & CS were lying to cover their own negligence & incompetence.We will be going forward now with a civil suit & it would never have been possible if not for the tenacity of Mr.Punnet & his assistant Deb. Before entering the court house we all said a very emotional goodbye to our precious baby grand daughter,as we clearly had no hope left.I don't know how Mr. Punnet did it, but he was able to expose the stink & corruption that was happening behind closed doors,& as a result he literally saved our precious baby girl from being stolen LEGALLY.The unchecked power of F & CS is frightening & when they are caught with their pants down, they will go to any length to win. THANK YOU GERALD.Our family can not begin to express our gratitude to you!

I went to Mr. Punnett for my divorce. At first I didn't know what to expect, his office is a little disorganized but after meeting with him I felt confident and was very amazed with his compassion and his knowledge that I decided to hire him. Mr. Punnett was determined to fight for me and get me everything that I was entitled too, and he did just that. My case was ongoing for a year and he won!!! I found Mr. Punnett to be determined and very caring. I was very pleased and happy with my outcome and have used Mr. Punnett for other legal matters and have been pleased with the outcomes as well. Mr. Punnett is very busy and yes maybe a little disorganized but he knows his stuff and is a very good Lawyer and I highly recommend him.

fought case for agreed upon $. made up a false breach claim , tried to charge over 1000 for it . Was asked to verify against court records and couldnt , still is trying to charge for things that dont exist . added charges after trial completed and diversion completed . shady and unorganized buyer beware

He'll take on any case and because of that he's so disorganized and his staff as just as bad as him. You can call in and he never knwos who you are.

This lawyer was so bad that he got us into more trouble than good. We went to another lawyer who fixed the mistakes he made and eventually won the case. He initially told us that we would need to do a 50/50 split but another lawyer took on the case and settled for 90/10 a couple weeks later! This guy is sneaky and dangerous. Stay away!!!
