The quality of his work was outstanding. For example, he responded my emails and phone calls promptly, his dealings with the "other side" was consistently clear and immediately to the point, leaving no room for ambiguity. He accurately anticipated the content of their responses. He was always on top of things. He was excellent value for the money and I highly recommended.

I needed to foreclose on a property that I had lent money on. Despite being in first place at less than 50% LTV, Steve pushed me hard to settle for less than what was owed to me. When I refused, he finally got my money out. There are better choices out there.

Steve Schwartz is a nice man. However, we would not use his services again. He didn't talk to us about all our options, instead he did some paperwork over the course of a year and sent us huge bills for this paperwork and would even charge us if we called for an update. We finally asked him to put in an offer hoping for early settlement and when it was declined he just told us when our dates in court would be. Before we went to court, we decided to try to settle our case on our own, and we ended up comming to a settlement agreement within 2 weeks. ... part of our settlement agreement was that we pay the other's lawyer fee's and realized that they were less than a third of what our were! I think if we went with another lawyer or represented ourselves from the beginning, this case would have been closed a year earlier, and saved us alot of money.

Great experience with Mr. Schwartz. He was clearly very knowledgable in his field, got us a great result, and it cost pretty much exactly what he quoted us. No hesitation in recommending him.

We felt we were led down the garden path entering into a Supreme Court action without full disclosure of the fees. In my opinion his communication skills are poor, and he easily gets his back up. We felt he did not council in the best interest of his client. I would not feel comfortable with his confidence level in a trial situation. A subsequent lawyer discovered important omissions in his argument for the action we filed. We got nothing for the 20G we spent.
